  1. Totally unique set of video's 2000-2001 season, every home game including friendlies and internationals especially produced for me by Alan Yardley under the direction of John Williams and when laid out the sleeves create a complete panorama of the Rovers Club through 1875 to 2000.

I will issue a full certificate of autenticity with these video's 90% of which have never been played, but I must stress they are absolutely unique and have never been on sale anywhere at all.

If interested telephone Alan on 07703129254 anytime.

When you say video's, how many are there? Are they on dvd?

  2. I asked this same question sometime last year, but is there any news on a release of EA cricket for the ps3 this year. A few people posted to say they would probably release one for the ashes series but surely there would of been news of it by now?

I know cricket games are probably not a top seller, but I really enjoyed the old PS2 versions.

No cricket releases anytime soon. This was confirmed by EA to us. There is the Ashes cricket game, but not sure if its EA thats releasing it. The same i think will happen with rugby, with no new game being released.

  3. Benni, when given the proper service from midfield, will score the goals. Its unfortunate that we dont seem to have much of a midfield, but with 12 goals you have to think that if we had a better midfield how many more he would have scored. Why get rid of him, if we cant replace him with somebody of equal or better ability.

  4. Drogba of all people should have shut his mouth. I love the way it turned out, and how many times in the league have referees looked the other way when a smaller team appeals for a penalty, against the big 4. Barca actually played football at the Nou Camp and at the Bridge. Yes they had 1 shot on target, but again Chelsea sat back and tried to counter, this on their home ground. I dont feel sorry for Chelsea, because how many teams have come unstuck against them through poor refereeing decisions. Barca will have Puyol, Henry and i think Marquez back. Abidal could still feature, if they appeal the red card with Marquez or Puyol slotting in at Right back. Barca will be much more fluent with Henry, Eto'o and Messi back together.

  5. How Wenger is considered by some to be a failure is rather astonishing. I wonder how many of those youngsters, would get into any other team. I would say most, if not all of them. Wenger and Arsenal will see the benefits of keeping those youngsters together, and playing regular football will see them dominate again in the coming years.

The advantage is that if the credit crunch continues to hit the big spenders, then Arsenal will be smiling because they dont need to buy big to be up there challenging.

  6. That’s professional coaches for you…imo he was a good coach, however I doubted his managerial skills and overall player relations. He seemed to not be able to communicate in a way which gave the players the confidence to go out there and perform.Take Hughes, and he understands what the modern player goes through.Souness was still old school, where you either liked his methods or you didn’t.

  7. Your point was this "So he has to make to with trialist, loans and freebies and hope that they are any good."

You put McCarthy and Rocky into that catageory then, fair enough. Why did you laugh at Rocky?

I laughed at roque well coz it was funny as Rocky(the way u have it down) Balboa was also down and out and never gave up blah blah blah, came back and performed miracles.so hopefully Benni can become Rocky….aah well u know what I mean, and im just pulling your leg mate.having a bit of fun,so don’t take it the wrong way.

Wait I think this is the reason why I got banned for life on the official rovers message board.lol

  8. McCarthy, Santa Cruz? - to name just two.

That's an argument that Souness used to put forward in his last months - we can only get youngsters or players past their best.

Imo Benni is past his best,he was past his best when we signed him..Hughes took a gamble on him,and fortunately it paid off.

  9. erm, problem is our fans want big name players signed where as Hughes knows we dont have the money to go out there and purchase those players. So he has to make to with trialist, loans and freebies and hope that they are any good.Of course Hughes aint going to get off lightly and needs to be criticised, but he has done more good than bad since taking over at Ewood Park.

Its not about him making tactical errors, its more about him reacting too slowly to the tactics he has put forward. In one of the games,Zurab was being ripped apart and Hughes kept him on until half time.about 30 mins too late imo.its that sort of delayed reaction from Sparky, not the tactics he uses.

Neither Mokoena nor Savage is any good,Savage maybe a little better than the axe but both offer nothing going forward.I know they defensive midfielders, but ive seen many defensive midfielders being able to pass a ball and being able to split defenses with killer passes.

  10. Cannot remember where I saw it but that's not the first time I've heard mention of Ngobeni- the beni bit stuck in my mind for some reason....

Suprememly talented player is Clifford Ngobeni. But please lets stay away from Lance Davids,i think he is not that good a player for us here in South Africa. How he is ahead of Clifford Ngobeni is beyond me. :angry2:

Benni will come right,he just needs to get a goal and get his confidence up again.I think Roque's superb form, will only be good for benni..He will think that he needs to start performing or he will be warming the bench again,so he will put much more hard work in.
