  1. If things don't go too well for JE at Derby, where does the rest of his family live? So we know which club he might go to #FamilyMatters
  2. So here's a question though. If JE leaves, should the fans kick off with a massive protest for Venkys out? With 15 games to go, should the fans forget about the playoffs and start the Venkys Out action plan
  3. Welcome to Rovers Wayne Rooney
  4. Should we warn the next potential manager?
  5. I agree, buying out your contract is never going to happen. However, we are so far into the season, a chance at the playoffs, that you would think that JE would at least try and see where it ends. All the positive interviews from JE, I don't know if I should take it as lies or that he was genuinely positive
  6. I'm pretty sure, that even if he didn't go to Derby, there will be at least a league 1 club looking to sign him up. The issue isn't about him leaving, the issue here is, that with 15 games to go, see it through.
  7. C'mon Jim, do you honestly think that no other club would come in end of the season for JE, if he stayed and got us into the playoffs? What he has done this season, has been nothing short of phenomenal.
  8. Fair enough... I'm just saying, there are many, who have left work having been in tough situation, that just could no longer afford to continue in that situation. If JE felt that he was betrayed, he could have just said enough is enough. Considering he was unemployed when we brought him in, im sure another club end of season would have easily snapped him up
  9. One would never say, that a club could sign pre contract agreements with a manager as well. I mean, complete the last 15 games, and after that, welcome to Derby County JE. Everybody happy
  10. It's okay man, we understand JE has a better financial offer lined up, and that his chance at doing something special with the bad hand he has been dealt is not as good. Good luck JE.
  11. I've worked in undesirable working conditions before, promised more money that never materialized. I left, without any other job lined up. If one is unhappy, you don't stay waiting for somebody to offer you something better, if you feel that you have been well and truly mistreated. So line JE, if he felt disgruntled, he could have called it a day well before this offer came in
  12. We don't need a manager... We can be the first club, that has a managerless team. Players pick themselves in the starting 11, with a game rock, paper, scissors
  13. So why didn't he leave before the Derby offer came in?
  14. And again, him leaving because of Venkys, is something nobody is shocked about. I have no idea, how many times I have to repeat the same thing to you, as to why him leaving the players and fans hanging mid season, isn't an issue to you and a few others. If he was hellbent on leaving because of assurances not being met, why did he not quit already, before the Derby offer came in. If he was a man of moral standings, and one that would not allow liars in his life, then he should have walked away from it.
  15. Besides football and pro sport, the average employee gets opportunities to move abroad, move to other cities for a better opportunity.. it's just a poor excuse
  16. So in other words, why waste our time on a manager while these guys are here? What we gonna do about it?
  17. Again, calm down, and relax your body Nobody is saying he didn't get dealt a bad hand by Venkys. In fact, we all knew that is what would happen eventually. But, again, that has happened, he is disgruntled and understandably so. However, that doesn't mean, he should just quit on the players and fans. The same players and fans, that's stood behind him, to get the team into a position where they can possibly dream of the playoffs. If you feel that you don't want to see this through, then I'm afraid it's a poor showing from JE.
  18. I don't disagree with that. But he knew the territory, he knew what he would potentially get himself into before he took on the job. If all that assurances were broken, then I don't blame him.. But, with the team in the playoffs race, see the project through that you started, especially when the players have given it 100 against all the odds
  19. I find this unbelievable to read, especially professional managers and players. If you miss home and family that much, then don't take a position at a club, outside of where you prefer to be. As a professional, moving from one city/country is something that comes with the territory. If you can't handle that, then stay and find work In your home town
  20. Disagree with you as well. If this Derby job offer didnt come up, then what? Like I said, if he was so unhappy, disgruntled, missing home, he could have quit and left the post sometime back and gone onto the unemployment list of managers. Why all of a sudden, is he feeling ambitious, missing home etc.
  21. Didn't say he won't leave now. I said, it would be disappointing, considering all the positive things that's been coming out of his mouth since the start of the season. If he was that disgruntled, he should have quit. Derby coming in for him, is just a quick way out, with somebody able to offer him an escape route. Him quitting on the fans and players is easy. It's not that easy for us fans to quit on him and the players, and if we did, he as the manager would question our loyalty to the players..
  22. Trusting Venkys and Waggot to give assurances over finances etc is never going to happen. And even if they did, we know they are serial liars and manipulators
  23. If he does leave for Derby, then I'll be annoyed and angry for the following reasons: A team written off at the start of the season, potentially fighting relegation, is sat in 6th Players and fans have given JE all the support he could ask for, to still be in with a chance in February. If you are disgruntled with the owners, Waggot etc, fine, we all are, but why decide to possibly leave the players and fans in the middle of a great opportunity to be in with a chance of doing something special.. see the project through, it's the least you can do, especially since you have been preaching all the lovely things since arriving. Once the season is done, and we have not reached the playoffs or crashed out of it, then by all means, thank you JE, and goodbye
