Even the chelsea manager wants a 23 man tops 1st team, so i don't see why we should need to carry extra dead weight like ellington as a financially smaller team.
In a dream world we could have the above as a good starting platform and ditch dunn, reid, benni and peds saving i'd guess 115-120k per week that could tempt some reliable quality to come here.
Looking at the above it starts to smell more like rubbish the whole ellington thing, we just can't afford his wages regardless of whether he is free.
