I often think of Hedges assist of an assist of an assist that one time as well, cracking stuff

Jen is amazing, used to sit in front of her at Ewood and always enjoyed a catch up, refreshingly positive in every way

I remember in that game Tugay controlling a ball then doing a full 360 with it never losing control for a split second

Where is he? Not seen him in the celebrations

Recall him having a do at Blackburn End in his Shrewsbury day. Like you say he's a prick.
A few in the Blackburn End were being pricks and a bottle came onto the pitch which he launched back, he’d been giving it Billy big bollocks all game.
Just seems a real prick in general though to me

Wasn't he pointing out the head injury?
That makes a lot more sense yes!
Defo see a goal or assist in his future today

There’s an expected bias on here, Wharton has been fine enough but lost it a few times in dangerous positions; the way Palace play that’s likely to happen though and in reality it was the perfect club for him to go to
As I speak he could have grabbed his first goal, half chance into his mates face and he asks the ref for a penalty - got to love the optimism

Ewww Dean Henderson shaping up to be the hero now, still hate that guy
He could have been sent off as well

Long story short
Paul Gray promoted to Head of Academy
John Prince promoted to Head of Academy Coaching
Club are also advertising for a Loan manager
https://www.rovers.co.uk/club/job-vacancies
Looks like 3 positions to replace Stuart Jones who left recently, & Jordan McCann who joined Arsenal in January
We need the ‘Head of buttoning top buttons’ to have a word with him

I’ve been waiting for that line to come from someone in power at Ewood, difficulty economy, reduced income from fans etc
You know it’s coming

Whichever of these goes through is irrelevant - either will get pumped by Sheffield United
Not sure myself, I think we would have been battered by Sheffield United in the semis but in the final you never know as it just takes a good day and a fair wind

I know I’m late to this but this is one of the worst adverts / angles I can think of, it’s like they just used an AI to come up with words.
So is there a season ticket option that just covers Saturday 3pm games? Should I ignore the other games?
Bizarre

I wouldn't be surprised if Dolan goes abroad. I've thought that English clubs may hold off picking him up knowing there'll be a fee, but not knowing what that fee is.
The compensation could be more than a club would have been willing to pay for him if he was under contract.
If he was an option for a PL club, it's peanuts. But I can't envisage that or any of the clubs dropping down to the Champ next season wanting him - which leaves a small selection of clubs who like us, aren't swimming in cash.
Strikes me as someone that could end up at one of the Old Firm clubs, gets a few games in Europe a season

if we sold Pickering we’d end up with some lad who’s 5x worse
Luton Town just released theirs after they couldn’t agree a new contract, former captain, pivotal in their promotion to the premier league (and subsequent relegations back to back), Jamaican international
Could be worth a shout!

It's behind a paywall, but even if its partly fuelled by a bit of a shakeup, the amount of fixture changes across English football shows no consideration to match going fans.
It seems that BBC and ITV are in a battle to determine the kick off time for the cup final, and part of it is to do with it not clashing with Eurovision. That sums everything up.
I mean I’m planning a Eurovision party not an FA Cup Final one!

Shame for Gilsenan but we can’t just indefinitely keep paying him in the hope he’ll stay fit when evidence suggests that isn’t likely to happen
-
My view on a few things:
Dolan - would defo keep him if we could but he’s gone
Hedges - let him go
Weimann - review injury maybe keep on a low base salary if possible
Batth - try and get renewed
Forshaw - no real view, if super cheap maybe keep around as a last option
Pears - consider offers if received
Buckley / JRC - accept any offer
Gueye - I expect him to move on, his usefulness is proven on his day but his day isn’t often enough and seems less so under VI and I could see us breaking even
Could also see us having to fend off interest for Travis, Brittain and Sonny and by fend off interest I mean have the used car salesman bug them up with the press and agents
I expect a mass exodus at youth levels as well
-
Worrying for the lad, from being here, his home town team to those injuries then being released and picked up by Barrow and injured and released again
He’ll do well to get a football league contract but feel he needs a solid season staying fit to prove himself, could see him in the Scottish lower leagues maybe
-
Tranmere at home 2-2 I’d guess 1990 when I was 6, first away game was also Tranmere away a few months later which I think was 0-0
Remember the ‘yellows’ chants and talking to Bobby Mimms in the warm up

A horrible decision, surely there are no financial restraints on how they could be backed so surely our owners could prove their commitment to the club and the town by backing them?
