    Recent Income
    Phillips - £2m
    Kaminski - £2.5m
    A. Wharton - £18m

    Summer Income
Szmodics - £10m (almost certain to go, price a rough guess)
    Raya (sell-on) - £4m

In total, that right there would be just over £36m from selling assets since last summer... THIRTY-SIX-MILLION-POUNDS.

As a result of the above sales, our team is absolutely dogshit and currently on the brink of relegation.

If we don't reinvest at the very least 25% of that income into the playing squad, then i'll honestly give up. I won't buy my family season tickets as planned, and won't set foot in Ewood again until they're all gone.

This is a very similar thought of me and my family too. There is absolutely no point in carrying on if we are not going to reinvest at least 25% of sales back into the playing squad. At most clubs the sale of your top assets is a blow, but creates some excitement with the possibilities of who will be coming in and what direction we will go. Selling top assets to pay bills is suicide, we after the names above have gone, we have no assets of value left.

I haven't mentioned Waggott once in my post Abbey.

of course the Sheffield Wednesday player would say that,

So if it affect them yesterday then how do you explaining winning at Leeds in front of 37k fans or Sunderland then if they aren't play in front of 7k sheff wed fans FFS?

I've seen numerous people state the games we won at places with big attendances, so I'm not digging you out here Chaddy.

The games you and others mentioned are games we didn't fall behind in. We have a weak underbelly, you are loyal to the core and I commend that but its a fact even the most diehard fan has to accept we often collapse when behind. With this weakness in mind, giving the opposition a lift (note I'm not saying the bigger crowd was detrimental to our players) by having a huge following in what was always going to be a close game was a terrible idea.

Please don’t shout at the players! It upsets them, especially the captain.

It's a built in behaviour with these players. I've lost count of how many pre match press conferences I've heard whilst under Eustace, when the players come out with this bile about the fans needing to back them.

It's actually offensive, as I genuinely believe the players are well backed in relation to have much shite the fans have to chomp on regarding the running of the club. It's an easy excuse, a cowardly excuse.

I've just seen the goals on tv and I'm staggered that Pears tries to blame Hyam for his aberration for the third goal. He is compounding his embarrassment. And for their second Brittain looks like he is towing a caravan trying to keep up with the Wednesday full back who scored. Under normal circumstances there would be wholesale changes for the Coventry game but I'm beginning to fear that Eustace isn't comfortable making big decisions that might upset players. His all too cosying up to the players just doesn't sit right with me.

I thought he shanked the ball in for the third. Watching it back on the reply I realised he actually knee'd it in when turning around, then half arsed went after it. Awful!

  5. This group cannot handle pressure. Simply they cannot handle the pressure of being behind. The current and previous manager have been categorically unable to turn games around.

Recently we played very well against Leeds and Southampton, we never went behind. Equally we were absolutely atrocious against Sheff Wed and Bristol City, both teams that are equal if not of a lower standard but could find no way to turn up. Very, very worrying.

as GB said in his interview that there is a contract offer on the table for Dolan to re-sign here. Dolan has been waiting to see what division we would be in before committed his future here but I expect he will re-sign here

I know what has been said, my point is he knew very well what division we would be in last July when the talks started. He may well sign, I hope he does but it has taken a very long time.

  7. I hammered them midweek and rightly so. I'm so proud of them today though!!

I questioned their minerals, they answered that. They do it without any subs which is no mean feat against teams with big squads.

Super ball play by the front 3 for the goal, simple but effective football!

Great Sammie finish. Defence did a great job, was good to see Carter back.

Watched with disbelief at the terrible defending mistakes last night, where do we go from this against Leeds next, They are a lot better side that Bristol City, they punished our mistakes and the scoreline could and should have been a lot more i fear that will be the case next time out

The thing that was most galling was the first two goals came from just literally walloping the ball to our defenders, for them to inexplicably fail to do the simplest thing in the game, kicking the ball.

I don't think I've seen a player continuously fall over like Hyam did for the 3rd, their fans must have been pissing themselves.

Don't get me started on McFadzean for the others .... the manager doesn't seem too worried though!

This cockwomble has also given Sheff Wed  the full 7k therefore giving them their cup final when literally everything should be done to be providing every ounce of home advantage we can find.

He genuinely doesn't give a fuck about anything other than his bonus related income sheet.

He does realise there is a bumper pay deal for staying in the Championship this year doesn't he? Wednesday go 1-0 up early, they are having a party at our place at our expense in the league.

For real though, I think it’s clearer than ever that the players are softer than pillows.

This 100% . Let's not forget that largely this squad managed to achieve the nearer impossible last season and blow getting into the play offs. They insultingly managed to turn up for the second half of the last game of the season when the pressure was off.

This group of players has managed to blow a comfortable gap at the bottom to now looking like the sinking ship of the league.

Look at the reactions to the goals last night, some of the worst goals you could concede in the professional game. Not a single crossing of words!!!

  11. As somebody said earlier that looked liked shirts handed to a group as they left the bus.

How can we look assured and like everything is clicking into place on Saturday then Sunday League standard on Wednesday?

I'm not surprised, hell this squad literally hasn't come from behind more than a couple of times in the last 2 seasons but Jesus 5-0 to a team on the beach!!!

  12. I feel like there is a gap in my memory, it had been mentioned Broughton was due to give an interview during this international break. I think this was stated by the reporter for the LT? What I can see is that this is an interview with essentially a podcast, filmed off his laptop. Previously they had been done by the club or somebody like Andy Bayes? Are we due an official interview or has this like the fans forum been volleyed down the road?

  13. I'm sure it has been mentioned on here but I saw a stat on twitter that really does show why the home supporters are getting really pissed off. Since 15/3/23 at Ewood

    Played 24

    Won 6

    Drawn 8

    Lost 10

75% of teams coming to Ewood have left with something. I knew it had been bad but I was genuinely shocked it was so bad.

  14. Absolute bobbins, I'm firmly in a relegation preparedness state. We have today been carved open and generally speaking been pasted by Plymouth in thankfully all but score line. We had the same troubles throughout the game and the manager didn't seem to see them and or act on them, it was an extremely worrying watch.

Somebody at the club please be kind and lead Mr Eustace by the arm and tell him to call a spade a spade, we've had decades of bullshit and don't take too kindly to it. This post and pre match football cliché lottery is starting to grate massively.

Rotherham have terminated Daniel Ayala's contract. He has played seven games and was sent off twice.

When he played for us I did quite rate him but he was just never available enough. I have to say I'd have never have offered him a contract after training with us then trying to slope over to the Middle East for a bigger pay day.
