  1. So JJ's gone and Kean had no input at all over his sacking it was the board. I love the way he drops in Paul Hunts name as the man who met JJ, before this happened, great deflection.

So basically Keans opinion over JJ had no influence over the board decision to can him.

Now if Kean had no input then that would imply a lack of faith in his judgement over JJ and his position from the board.

However, Kean goes on to say it will be '100%' his choice who the new man is.

So the same board who don't trust his opinion over JJ are willing to let him choose his own man?

It just doesn't make sense and the smell is rather pungent.

  2. When I was up at Brockhall I saw JJ, he came across as a very knowledgable man, the evidence I saw was that the players liked him, so him suddenly leaving might have a effect on them.

Also a very stupid timing, why do this now just 2 days before a huge game? Whereas getting rid of him after City would've been better timing as there are 2 weeks to next game. IF what I have heard is true then this whole situation stinks and JJ has been made the scapegoat. I really hope no replacement is announced before Sarurday because a bad result and fans turning against Kean might result in Venky's having to make another sacking.

But my gut feeling is that Kean isn't going to get sacked regardless of what the result is on Saturday.

At least our fears that Jensen would have taken the hotseat after Kean have been relieved.

Not the first time we've seen this kind of non-story on the site.

Remember the cursory article commemorating the 11th year of Jack's death?

Who's in charge of the site? Is it still Grooby?

An undergrad who is a fellow Rover said he Emailed in asking why there was no story about Jack on the site. He got a reply saying there was, when he found the page (wasn't easy apparently) he was so disgusted he Emailed in asking asking why Jack only warranted 2 lines and that everyone at the club should be ashamed as Jack was the sole reason they had the jobs they did. He got no reply.

  3. One or two Man U staff interested in our Ruben, by far the most talented player on view, including Rafael, Fletcher, Oberton etc. This lad can really play, he for me has a bit of everything and I really think he is going to the very top!

Best tell them that you've never seen him play that well before and he must have had a case of red bull in him to produce that.

  4. Juventus in for Kyrigiakos is a corker. Surprised if it happens though.

Bocchetti & De Michelis Juventus's other defence targets.

Fiorentina & Juventus after Di Natale.

    Napoli in for inler.

Diego to Join Wolfsburg for £14 million.

David Trezeguet to Hercules could happen.

Have Juve employed a blind man as their head scout.

How is Trezeguet these days???? He'd be better than Banjoni surely.

    Thanks Roberto

  5. I don't believe it was Zola who signed him though.

I think this is why Sullivan is being so outspoken, he can't believe that he actually signed him!

I wonder if Sullivan thought he was getting some revenge ala Savage. Benni did pretty much refuse to play for us again.

Benni should get a stomach ring, 25% body fat :wacko: . Did he not have a similiar amount one summer when reporting back to pre-season training with us?

  6. You sum it up perfectly Maji, couldn't do much better myself.

He famously turned up for training at Inter's training ground wearing an AC Milan shirt. As you can imagine it went down really well with the fans.

    Cheers Roberto.

What a fool, turning up in an AC shirt. I truly have to wonder what goes through some peoples minds at times, surely he must have realised that the fans would be less than pleased.

  7. Personally I thought it was brilliant, but it's not my usual type of film. Crude and stupid. If you can laugh at a full-length, completely serious rendition of a Black Eyed Peas song, I'd say go for it.

Have to agree on this one, had me in stitches.

I'm still trying to find this russian red bull as a mate had a time machine in his garden.

  8. Rumour has it that Thierry Henry has agreed in theory to join Red Bull New York, with a fee for Barcelona yet to be negotiated.

    Very strong rumour.

It's obvious Cesc Fabregas wants to join Barcelona,Wenger should let him go,collect the £35 million and improve his Arsenal side, making goalkeeper his priority.

Why isn't the fee for Cesc, much higher?

Personally if Ibrahimovic is worth 70M and Ronaldo 80M, then if I was Wenger I'd be wanting similar money for him. 35M won't get them a similar player so why would they part with him for that? Fabregas is worth his weight in gold.

What's the deal with Bertolli or whatever that young Inter striker is called? He was being hyped up a year or two ago, but now those with knowledge of the Italian game say he's lost his way. Is it a case of the hype making him too big headed? And I never understood the hype about Ibrahimovic. He seemed more arrogant and lazy than Benni.

Balotelli, he's a very controversial young lad plays for Inter, publicly very vocal about his love for AC, and has been very disrespectful to the Inter fans on many an occasion. Talent wise, he's got a lot, he must have as despite all his antics Mourinho still plays the lad. Against Siena he did an overhead kick that was behind him and low which smacked against the bar. He must sort his head out and you've got to wonder if he will. Mourinho is great at motivating and getting inside his players heads, but even he's not managed to get him on the straight and narrow. This is the man who even managed to get Benni firing consistently and to be lean and fit, something several managers have struggled to do since he came to these shores and prior to his Porto days. I hope he does get on track as he could be a worldie, but if he doesn't???

    Some of his goals

I'm sure Roberto has far more info on him, and perhaps he'd share some?
