As for striker partners - Id like to see Hoilett given a chance alongside Kalinic, his pace means it only requires one good ball to him and we are in with a great chance of scoring.

He doesn't have the technique to be a premiership striker at present. Just watch him play he's fantastic with the ball at his feet, but his distribution is not the best and he doesn't strike a ball cleanly. Maybe he could move there as he matures but for now he's better where he is as he gets a bit more time and space than in the middle. He needs to develop more before we consider him there, its far from uncommon for this tactic to be taken, just ask Henry. Hoillet needs to be patient if he sees himself as a striker.

Bring on Knight Rider, Street Hawk and Airwolf... Maybe a remake of Blue Thunder too, and the live action Thiundercats and Smurfs with a dash of Snorks.

I can't see SA getting out of a group with France, Mexico and Uruguay. Sout Africa are terrible at the moment, they didn't even qualify for the African Nations which has such football giants as Mozambique and Gabon in it!!

No host team has ever not made the second round, so history is on their side. I think form goes out of the window with these sort of things.

Also don't forget having SA in for a couple of the later stages is worth good money to FIFA and as they proved with their seeding fiasco they have no issues bending rules for their own means.

I'd then sell after/during the world cup. Its pretty much a certainty the home nation will at least make the second round and hopefully Benni would be leading the line. A few goals at the world cup and you never know.

I got dragged to watch Avatar and I'm quiet shocked to read that some liked it? It ranked alongside Titantic for me, which, well I got woken up at the end of that one. 3D very nice but novelty factor wears off after 5 minutes although I reckon watching a match that way might be good.

But Rovers coaching staff for one reason or another have failed for 18 months to get Benni to level where they call fit. If he is not obeying what they are asking then continual breaking rules consitutes Gross Misconduct and he can Summarily Dismissed from his contract. Now the other point is that the coaches are failing to continually do their jobs, so should be replaced.

Hughes staff also struggled with keeping him fit.

At the end of the day you can't train someone who doesn't want to be trained, and thats Benni. Given his track record at other clubs and the constant criticisms that have followed his career, I wouldn't lay the blame at the coaches feet but his.

La Tasca in Liverpool - you'd be hard pressed to screw up tapas (especially if you do it for a living) but this lot managed it. We went for the chef's special set menu and regretted it. Overpriced, lukewarm food served by crap staff and it wasn't even busy at the time. I've been to the Manchester branch on Deansgate in the past and liked it.

Unfortunatly there seems to be a serious lack of good places to eat in Liverpool. However I reckon we've got more macdonalds per square mile than any other city, they are everywhere.

We should keep Benni until the end of his contract - he has the best goal scoring ability in our team and he still has alot of the blackburn end behind him. Unless of course someone was daft enough to pay £5m+ for him then I cant see how we could replace him with anything decent or better than him.

Quite. The players we've got are what the manager has to work with. When I have to put a meal together and can't go to the shops I look in the cupboard etc and decide what I can make with what I've got that will feed us all and be tasty at the same time. I don't insist on making a beef casserole if what I've got is chicken, mushrooms and cream. I think it's the manager's inflexibility that is more annoying than any perceived long ball tactics.
