Just watched it all - hadn't found out the score all day (which is quite easy to do in Ireland tbh) :D
Great ending too with Sam scoring, hope he's here next year to do it again

Had a great afternoon with FC fans in Harrow on the Hill. Guinness going down well. Looking forward to the game tomorrow. A few pints in nearby Harrow then tube to Wembley and soak up the atmosphere with a walk up Wembley Way. Come on Wigan!!
Having a great time in Dublin but gutted not to be goin to cup final. Will have to see u next year in Covent Garden instead!!

Just had a brilliant day at Old Trafford with bellamy11. Was in stand D which can only be described as cosy!, but was sat next to a Celtic fan who had phoned up to ask if there was any tickets yesterday, and a Rovers fan next to him. Glad I took factor 50 suncream, it was boiling hot!!
England need to bat through tomorrow and get an equally big score.

My biggest fear is that it doesn't stop piddling it down!

Oooh eck!
I'll give 'em a shout or two for you Clare.
I know...we could've had another beer in covent garden again!! I'm going to attempt getting home without knowing the score...see how I get on! heh

German cricket team offering the Aussies a competitive game hehe
“#Ashes #ReturnTheUrn” slightly optimistic with that hashtag chaps. If you fancy a competitive game we are only an hours flight from London

And it'd be just our luck, we'd put them back into bat they'd pull 100 or so in front of us and then it'd rain for the first time in decades (or what feels like decades!)

Spare a thought for Scotty and Manchester Blue ...
So, at the start of day, while England were still batting, we jokingly said we'd have a Jagerbomb every time the Aussies lost a wicket..
How bad is it that I'm praying the Aussies don't lose another wicket before tea? Who came up with the daft rule of jaegers every wicket?
Hehe

Great Test, great ending, usual cringeworthy comments regarding the rivalry cropping up from the usual suspects. Seriously tempted to take a punt on Day 5 Old Trafford Tickets now..
I checked the other day and there was still very limited tickets for the Friday and Sunday too

Sadly Warren lost his fight with cancer yesterday

Back down to 12. Hopefully they do the sensible thing and bring back relegation/promotion.
The whole thing was designed to cater for the Celtic Crusaders and that didn't turn out right well!

Looking a bit better now!!

Well that was a pretty loud national anthem in Brazil
And they've just gone ahead!

Interesting thing happened in Germany, the DFB denied Duisburg entry for the league next season due to financial mistakes. I think it is the first time in 13 years that the DFB have denied a licence.

Interesting read from WSC about Red Bull and their multiple ownership.
I remember when we played them some of their fans were telling us about how the new owners had actually banned the colour purple from the stadium and you'd get refused entry if wearing anything purple.

Proper waterlogged pitch at Carl Zeiss Jena!

I don't get it, the whole point of the video ref is to look at it from every angle possible over and over again. I didn't see it but Ganson normally takes an age over any decision, can't understand how he missed it!

Don't get to sit on the front fence at DW like I used to at Central Park
Had a great day at Magic Weekend yesterday. First game was a bit slow in the first half but come round in the second. Huddersfield just too good for Bradford.
Didn't think Wigan played particularly well overall but the defence held strong enough to keep them out near the end. Would've loved it if Tomkin's kick from half way would've gone in!
Could've done without them keep showing Pat Richard's cut on his face every 5 minutes, blergh!
Really like the Magic Weekend, great day out, no bother, you're allowed to do stuff (drink, stand up, doing the conga, have fun etc.) that would be a chuckable out offence at the footy!! Also, I quite like the Etihad as a venue for it.
Forgot to add - worse ball 'persons' ever!

Proper numbers and everything
I'd wear it.

Actually quite gutted about that game. 4 things:
1. I'm all for blooding young players, but maybe not so many at once! I think with even 3-4 experienced players that game would've been won.
2. Not a pen leading to Hull's try, he wasn't offside imo. You can play the ball to nobody, but the defence can pick it up.
3. The drop kick attempt showed a lack of experience. They had 6 tackles to get set for a drop goal, score it and get the ball back and kill the clock.
4. The game clock got stuck on 5.03 minutes before Hull scored. I don't know how long it was stuck for but it was at least a minute
