  1. I'm sooooo bored waiting for next season. I need an RL fix!
  2. well I got to the 60th minute of the Baa Baa game before finally deciding I couldn't take the pain any more. It was so bad that I considered poking my eyes out so I'd never have to watch Union again. Only good thing to come out of it (hopefully) is that Sam has seen 1st hand how inferior Union is.
  3. The Baa-Baa situation with Sam is just crazy. Starting to think the player is getting bigger than the club.
  4. Yes they have one, the RLIF. In a way they have acquiesced to the ARL as they asked for Cecchin however England did ask for Phil Bentham (he is English). It's the RLIFs fault as they failed to insist on a neutral for the final and have chosen an Aussie to ref a final that includes Australia. The refereeing has been appalling especially from the Aus & NZ refs so I'm not sure who should be doing it. The obvious one is Terry Halibut I suppose but do we really want a massive game ref'd by a French Mr Bean?
  5. Been told that Anthony Gelling has signed. Don't know much about him apart from his antics off the pitch. Think he's coming as a centre but down under he's regarded as a better 2nd rower. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
  6. Another world class performance from young Sam. Getting hard to decide between Billy Slater & Sam for the worlds No. 1
  7. I can't repeat on here what I just said after reading this: http://www.saracens.com/news/view.php?Id=6615 Never thought the biggest club in Rugby League become a feeder club for a Union club
  8. just watched the England game, not a bad performance at all and much better than the scoreline suggest. Very impressed with Jack Reed, would be a storming centre on SL. I wonder if Lenegan has decided what to do with the Joel T money?
  9. Beltin' just what Wigan should play in and Mossop looking an absolute beast!
  10. Depends if you want to get away quick! We did it for a year and the wait to get off was a right royal PITA! Not renewed mine yet, think we have until 5th November to keep our seats (we're second block from half-way west stand).
  11. You'll get plenty of anti-Whino bias from me, can't stand the club, I'd go as far as saying my loathing is up there with Burnley and Wire. What do you class as the modern era?
  12. Chorley Borough! Vague memories of that shirt. There was the Chorley Cheiftians briefly inbetween Borough and Lancs Lynx.
  13. Terrible presser at Wigan. Officially depressed.
  14. Just because some clubs don't spend the cap shouldn't try to peg other clubs back. I'm not too bothered about the cap but far more imagination could be used to encourage the development and recruitment of home-grown players but then those clubs who don't have the junior infrastructure claim that gives an unfair advantage to clubs like Wigan. Sorry, but the RFL is a joke.
  15. Not in the England squad. Hope it's a dam big cheque we're getting.
  16. This: Agency Think the England squad is announced today, if he's not in I think it's safe to say he's off.
  17. IT's no coincidence that the Tomkins brothers are now with an agency that represents many Union clubs and players. I don't think anyone could blame Joel - who wouldn't go to an easier job on two or three times the money? The problem for me is just how easy it is for Union to pick off our players and whilst we have Yorkshire Commies running the RFL it's only going to get worse. Not a happy bunny this morning...
  18. Apparantly 3rd played 5th tonight in a sort of Johnston Paint type competition and 5th won, nice. Carp game by all account, I didn't watch it. On a more worrying note, the Wigan boards have been rife with rumours about Joel T joining the dark side, I didn't believe it but was told earlier that this is a very real deal. Bast@rd Union thieves. Always bugged me how many Union scouts watched Wigan Academy games.
