yeah pearl jam vitalogy is without doubt one of the most underated albums ever, mainly as it went against the 'mainstream' at that time, and was too raw for some. the fact this was followed up by the mainly mellow 'no code,' another stunning(and underated) album shows the genius of vedder and co. i really like the metallica album, again without any comparing st.anger is almost metallica's version of vitalogy, going against what they usually do, recording with a more raw effect, which i like as i feel previous metallica albums were to shaply recorded and too slick. and i'm sure the black album had solo's?? didnt it?

very true i guess but i find it very hard to respect and go as far as to like an artist if they are manufactured and not actually talented.... eg. good charlotte, linkin park ect.

me neither!!!!!!! i personally think pearl jam should be ranked along side the who, zeppelin ect... to be fair it was a japan one and an australian one, but i didnt realise they were releasing any. they were both worth buyin', but i have so many pj cds including live stuff, i often wonder if its worth having any more. so see you back in hmv tomorrow

metallicas albums are always a dissapointment. one or two standouts normally gets them through. s&m and garage ink (two live/ish) ones are there best. best album i have ever purchased arrived today.. i know simon is a fan and its the pearl jam bootleg form the last leg of the american tour, state college. 39 tracks all superb!! they really are the BEST live band ever.

im sure the fact such political threads..that turn into nasty argumentative scenarios like this is developing into is why no rovers fans seem to get on.. the the point where we wont sing together and create an atmosphere in the ground!!! joke by the way before anything nastier develops.

Top album. Gets better the more you hear it. Not as good as Ten or the mighty Yield but good all the same. I saw them at the MEN arena 2 years ago, but it looks like being a while until they tour Britain again. They have just toured Australia and Japan. They are now doing a massive US tour that takes them till the end of July. Looks like we will have to wait. They've got European dates confirmed, but Paris is the closest they come to the UK at the moment. where have you heard they are going to paris?! the closest the website reports them coming to britain is florida basically!! if they are going to paris though, that aint too bad. never know, might coincide with rovers playin psg in uefa cup??!!
