  1. Another idea - how about a season ticket holder can buy a discounted match ticket for a friend?

They could decide whether to ‘split’ that discount between them.

These might be rubbish ideas but I’m sure I’m thinking about it more than Waggott does 😁

The problem they're going to have is that they've spent £40m+ on an entire squad of top level Championship players that are all going to need replacing if they want to survive in the Premier League.

I think that’s a problem which all the clubs in the championship would like to have

I doubt if we would have anything like £10m available in the transfer market nor would we be able to put together a remuneration package that would match anything like he's on at Forest in the Premier League.

I certainly agree with that but I meant the same deal as the one which was agreed this time.

Tbf as far as Burnley being better you could say that for practically every team in the division. They've made this league look like a bit of a joke. Only two losses and 19 points clear of 3rd already, lol. I'd say it puts the other relegated clubs with parachute payments to shame more than us.

They’ve done what all relegated clubs should do but not many actually do.

    It’s bloody annoying!

The problem with a £10 ticket is that season tickets average at ~£17 per game (I stand to be corrected). It's completely unfair on season ticket holders to price a single ticket so low when they've forked out a lot of money to support the club for the whole season.

Waggott prices the season tickets so highly, and that creates a problem of justifying a very low cost single ticket at any point in the season. Pricing a ticket at £15-£20 might be more realistic, or bundle of games in that sort of price per game range. I can't see it happening, though. There might be an offer at some point, but I bet it'll be dismal.

£10 tickets and a commensurate discount in the shop for season ticket holders?

I know the club won’t do this but I wonder if it is something that would ‘work’

Sell Vale + Gallagher and then bring in 2 strikers (one must be an experienced player, the other can be a youngster if that's what they want)

Send back morton and mola and block Liverpools number ha! Bring in a CM

Loan out phillips and bring in an experienced CB (dream would be JpvH)

Bring in a LB for competition or to take over for Pickering. (Someone mentioned manning from Swansea, he would be a class signing)

    Job done no?

That all sounds good but I do think we need an ‘all action’ midfielder as well

They'll be bang up for it and Ainsworth will get them giving their all for the shirt as a minimum. I'm predicting a lot of grit not a lot of quality and a hard to watch 0-0

On another note I wonder what Sunderland fans think of Tony's first death spiral.  They probably don’t even realise they’re in one yet in fairness

    Boiling frog syndrome?
