"JDT should improve his players".

Good illustration of why Chat GPT is impressive yet unimpressive at the same time. Can turn a single line prompt into grammatically correct flowing sentences in a particular style, and make them relatively aligned to the topic at hand, but they still come across as a general summary without insight.
I do wonder whether calling tools like this "Artificial Intelligence" is right? It's really more of a collation and filtering and structuring of a vast pool of information, rather than actually providing a new intelligent insight or initiative. What you get out will be limited to what is in the information pool it is drawing on.
I’d still suggest replacing Waggott with it though…

He felt 'pumped' yesterday when the crowd got loud.
Time for the stay-aways to get to Ewood and bring the noise!
He also said the aim is to get to the play-offs. He's slightly off message there and may need a talking to from JDT!
The players need the noise to perform
The fans need a performance to make the noise
Who will blink first…

This whole thread is a BRFCS speciality, make rumours up and argue about them 😄

poor spell of results? we just 2 very good away draws when most people on here gave us zero chance of ever picking a draw, Yes Wigan was disappointed result but overall this season has been enjoyable and good in terms of results and table wise. Yes we have dropped from 3rd to 8th but we are still in a good position to get a top 6 and playoff place.
On the change of formation, I feel that this squad suits 4-2-3-1 given the attacking players we have. I would play BBD on the left cos his suits his game and how he like to come inside and shoot. Play Thomas wide and Dack in the 10 role with Dolan/Gallagher or Vale up front for rest of the season.
2 wins in 10 (league only)…

We all want a night in with Maya Jama.
I expect we won’t get it.
But our current girls got us where we are so who’s to say they won’t finish the job, so to speak.
We’d need to book a pretty big venue too…

I personally don't think any formation fits this squad - it's not been built by Mowbray with a certain formation in mind.
We now have a plethora of CBs, but we don't have the WB to play with 3 at the back (anyone shoehorning Brittain / JRC / Thomas / Dolan in as a RWB has to be aware that Pickering cannot play LWB).
JDT wants to play 4-2-3-1 long-term. He has the flexibility on the bench to shift to 3 CBs when trying to grind out a win. I think that's a fine state of affairs as we limp to the finish line this season.
You’d have thought that, if nothing else, after five years the squad would have fitted exactly how he wanted to play (formation and style)
This is our fifth season back in the championship - why are we only at the start of a long term project…

Don't worry, when Mowbray was here and we lost matches it was all about the performance.
Oh I’m not worried, just curious 🧐- there may be an explanation and it’s just too early for me to see it for myself.

No pace and not too comfy on the ball our centre backs, a prerequisite for 3 at the back.
Chaddy - in the WBA thread you’ve stated that ‘football isn’t about entertainment but winning games’
You’ve said in here ‘I don’t get why we need to change things up a bit’
Surely these are contradictory given we’ve won 2 out of 10 league matches since the World Cup break…

I think we can do better than calling people doom mongers (and happy clappers on the other end of the spectrum).
Incidentally, we’ve had two creditable draws, but given our recent form and who our opponents had in their squad, I don’t think it was completely unreasonable to think we’d lose those matches.
Particularly after our disastrous conclusion to the transfer window.I think expecting to lose is one of the things which can make a draw a good result

Possibly, what do they do training ? I’d be trialing it for sure.
We might be weak at left wing back, but I think left back is one of our weaker positions anyway

Centre halves is where we are strongest at the moment. We’ve got four good players for two places at the moment with another one in Phillips on the horizon.
A reason to switch to three at the back or not?

It was a decent point, a very decent point.
As was Watford just before it.
You’d have thought we’d lost 6 in a row, reading some of the comments in here last night.
It was the Wigan result that was disappointing, the two subsequent draws (as you say) we’re both decent.
