I'd like to try him in midfield and see what he has (Dunn this is). For me dunn being fit last week was a hinderance to us as he was useless and Benni would have offered more imo

I agree but I can tell you now (before the teams have been announced) that Benni will not start tonight. This manager does not think he is a team player and he rates Dunny.

Very sad news. Don was a decent centre forward and also converted to centre half later in his Rovers career. RIP.

I thought he played well today, especially in the first half.

It was also nice that he was applauded from all parts of the ground when he was subbed.

Sorry but he contributed absolutely zilch today and Pompey and their supporters must now know that...

I applauded him also but only because he is a decent human being and I felt sorry for him.

I find it really frustrating when we talk about Benni. He could and should be a Rovers Legend (Tugay, Friedel, Garner). He has undoubted ability, is a goalscorer but we just do not see enough of him.

Is he hungry enough!

For Christ sake, his country is hosting the World Cup next year and it doesn't look as though he will be involved in that!
