Bottom 2 get relegated.
And they play each other next week so we could drop back in

The BBC had to rush the post match interviews as the Manchester Balls were starting to defrost

The difference being that our midfielders were taking the ball on the half-turn, then turning away from their markers and into space. This then gives them time to pick forward passes. Leicesters mid-field were doing what we have been doing most of the season. Receiving the ball from the defence facing their own goal, then playing the ball back into the danger zone.
It's all about decisions. Pears makes better decisions than Kaminski who often plays a suicide pass into the midfielders whereas Pears is more likely to lump it rather than be too brave.

I see the 4231 formation is working well for the Academy sides too.

5 of our next 7 at home (if Burnley stays where it is).
Weirdly only played 14 home vs 17 away so far this season.
Yet Coventry who played 6/7 fixtures away at the start of the season have now played 17 at home

JDT must really hate midfield players. Down to one at the end and guess who gets fouled for the free kick that we score from

Both Watford and Norwich squads are valued higher than theirs.

Hull could be the surprise package yet.

Something about that right hand side that I think would work really well.
I'm hoping A.Wharton isn't too far away either; he's got qualities that no other player we have has.
This formation gives better protection to the full backs and reduces the amount of cover the attackers need to provide leaving them free to attack. I'm sure JDT will persist with only two in midfield even though it's never looked good.

My Lineup
Kaminski
Brittain Hyam Carter Pickering
JRC Buckley Travis
Thomas Dack Diaz (not Brereton)

ITV struggling to find pundits for their highlight show?

Yes even though i'm a Vikings fan.
Looks like it's going to be a high scoring game

Norwich only have one more year of parachute payments so bit of a gamble on their part.

Mowbray could argue having had full ssasons of promotion in League 1, 15th, 11th, 15th and 8th that progress was made somewhat, as much as I am glad that he has gone. I don't really see the distinction between his journey and the project. Both are doomed to fail because of people above them. Mowbray is a half decent Championship manager, Tomasson so far likewise across the season.
A project would involve regular trading of assets and reinvestment and that doesnt happen because of the owners.
A Journey without a destination is just wandering aimlessly. A project without a set objective is just poking around in the dark.

Sharpe has suggested that Rovers won't go for free agents in his latest article. The appeals, of course, are also expected to fail.
Our squad size has gone from 22 to 21. The irony there is that losing Annesley and Hirst, and gaining Thomas, probably leaves is in a slightly stronger position. I thought Thomas was good against Wigan. Definitely somebody who looks to create.
I hope that list isn't the one supplied to the EFL Clinton Mola was born in London so is home grown. Daniel Ayala being Spanish isn't.
Maybe they just forgot to tick the right boxes

EFL Board championship representatives are from Millwall, Middlesboro and Preston, so no vested interest in those to reject

Technically it's the lack of athleticism we have at FB that is hindering the system - well that and not having a #9.
The FBs are meant to provide the width, but neither JRC or Pickering can do the job properly as if they go they can't get back (e.g. today where they adapted the system when in possession so JRC could roam upfield).
Surely the manager knows this already. Yet he repeats it week in week out

And what was the problem the season before, and the season before that, and before that?
Not all the players are terrible, I'd say it's the bad eggs that are making the others stink.
Brereton having his mind elsewhere isn't helping.Mowbray

It's not the players, it's the system. 2 man midfield will never work with the midfielders we've got. It actually makes them look worse than they are

Does this sound like a club with ambitions on promotion

We will see when we play the game but I have faith JDT and these players clearly you don't
I have faith in the players not the system
