It appears we are both wrong. According to Wiki he was born in Bury.
Well yeah, that’s the nearest hospital 😅.
He grew up in Rammy for definite.

They’re hardly getting away with anything, they can’t be forced to say anything they don’t want to.
Bar refusing to meet with them, what else would you have people do instead? It’s all well and good people giving it the big’uns on here, this doesn’t just go for you Revidge, but anyone else too. You can have my spot and represent the message board if you think you could do a better job, by all means, as I’ve stated previously.
Easy to criticise from afar.- 2

Did he say when he will be able to talk about it, or is it a way of sweeping it under the carpet forever?
I suspect the second one. But, I’ll bring it up at July’s meeting.

Isn’t Trippier from there ?
Nah, he’s from Ramsbottom.

only McGuire was confirmed.
You are on FF panel and in the room when Waggott is saying this to you all. Do any of the FF panel not challenge him on it if you don't believe it?
Speaking of low blows!
Of course we do. Last meeting, he said he was unable to talk about that aspect of the last window, however.

Rovers have said the case in the Indian court will not effect the Rovers summer transfer business we are told. Lets see what happens in the summer
They also confirmed we’d signed Duncan McGuire and Lewis O’Brien.

apart from Armstrong sale 3 seasons ago we haven't had a big sale and we all knew that had to go towards FFP rules.
Wharton deal was only confirmed last day of the window, so lets if we reinvested some of it the way GB would like to.
Given what has happened with the last few sales, it’s far more likely that it won’t go into the team than it will.
See the money received from Jordan Rhodes’ sale, for reference.

I just don’t understand how that was offside and how it took them so long to reach that decision.

Let’s see if any of the Wharton's money is reinvested this summer. Plus the Raya money
Appreciate you want to be optimistic, I really do.
But, given how much of our recent big sales has gone back into replacing them, I probably wouldn’t hold your breath.

No one likes us they proudly sing. Do they ever wonder why? This f****** can expect a knock on his door soon.
What an absolute throbber.
Doing the motion of slitting someone’s throat, when I bet he couldn’t even knock out a wank.

Good loans cost money. We don't have any.
We do, it just doesn’t go on the team.

Turns out our planning for food is still as good as ever. We’d run out of pies, the pie mash and gravy trays and hot dogs before half time yesterday.
You’d have thought the club would know what the attendance was, ahead of kick off, yesterday….

Worry for me is that there’s no plan, no intention to succeed and no ambition.
As well as obviously feeling we won’t get any of the Wharton, Raya, or likely Szmodics cash to go back into the squad, I just wonder what the point of it all is tbh.
My mate I sit with is the same and this is two people who’ve had season tickets for 30+ years and I imagine, others will be the same.

Where's the connection? Gestede was long gone from Rovers before Waggott turned up so doubt they knew each other or that Waggott is letting him shadow him at Forum meetings as a favour to an old friend.
I'm not aware of a similar arrangement ever occurring before, and it isn't the first time I've heard of Gestede being around the club and training ground which all just seems odd to me if he isn't employed there.
I don’t think it’s that deep tbh mate. I imagine Gestede still knows someone at the club and they’ve put a word in for him.

You'd be crying if we went to 4 at the back and they scored the winner on the break too.
We simply have no pace - you don't change formation there when you're in control.
But that would have meant us going down swinging at least. Please don’t assume when I’d have been crying.
It makes an ass out of you and me x -

I may have missed this among the talk of using the Adam Wharton cash to repair the broken lifts at Ewood but can anyone explain why Rudy Gestede was in attendance at the meeting on behalf of the Club?
I can't find any mention of this in the minutes and cannot find any mention of him being employed at the club or what role he performs.
Gestede was literally just there shadowing Waggott, he’s looking to go into boardroom stuff in the future.

Bit salty that, K-Hod.
It was a genuine question to how the execs frame their answer, so how do Swag et al respond to the why are they still here question?
Wasn’t intended that way, or just aimed at you, probably looks that way with quoting you, but I’m not a multi quoter!
Thing is, even if we did ask that, he’d just say ‘because they want to be and they’re fully committed to the club’.
Only person who can answer these questions (Mr Pasha) has never been in any FF meeting I’ve attended. -

‘The owners are fully committed to the club’ standard boilerplate we’ve heard about 10,000 times…
does nobody in these sessions, be it WATR, FF ever simply ask ‘Why?’
Well yeah, regularly. Usually ends in an impasse.
I’m not really sure what anyone expects me or anyone else on any of the fan groups to say tbh.
As ever though, they’re welcome to join in and give their own input instead.
If anyone’s in the dark about my feelings in the owners, allow me to shed some light…I want them gone and don’t think we’ll go anywhere, whilst they’re in charge.
-
Obviously, we’ve had no confirmation either way, but I’d be amazed if there was any sort of price drop at all.
Particularly if, as suspected, there’s a drop off in sales, then SW will need to hit his revenue targets.
Which to him are obviously far more important….- 2

Is there a product that can protect and waterproof suede? I'd like to keep those new trainers of mine looking good for a while.
I know JD Sports sell one called ‘crep protect’ that people seem to like.
Otherwise, I’d have a Google, I’m sure there are some reasonably priced ones knocking about!

But then in the interests of fairness, do you need to keep telling us what you think the budget will be?

I've never been a fan of Samba, to flat for me, but I did consider a pair of these, but at £200 right now, I've decided against them.
I do wonder where Gary Aspen got the colour scheme from, I'm sure its based on something relevant to Blackburn, maybe the Night Safe Project itself, but I'm not sure.
Managed to get a pair of these on release at RRP.
3x browser windows open at 11pm on the dot, luckily someone didn’t want a size 11 and that got me in!
Probably wheel them out about 5 times a year, tbf!- 2
