Any news from Lee on the official info as to how many tickets we have sold?
-
According to John Williams the club are expecting a big rush for tickets this weekend! Dont hold your breath JW The back page of the LET is all about the semi final tickets.
-
I also have two double rooms in cardiff for the friday that i no longer need. Total cost of about £110 - PM if you do. Staying in the Cardiff Ocean Park - Premier Travel Inn
-
I aint going on saturday, and its the 1st time i havent been to Old Trafford in a few years when we have been playing them, so i can see a rovers win. Just my luck to miss out on the celebrations!!
-
Got my tickets at 9.30 friday morning, sat in N3, Row 16. If we have sold 7k + another 7k waiting then i think we are doing quite well so far
-
Is that the one just near the ground that has a few different floors and has balconies around, with a space in the middle to see down all floors?
-
Anyone got any ideas as to how many we have sold? Has there been any update from Lee?
-
Surely people wouldnt be too fussed if it was made in too a trip we have to do twice, would it? Or even 3 times if we were to win and the go back for the charity shield
-
Exactly my point. Whilst in may be an inconvenience or expensive etc... its a one off. Time to get behind Uncle Jacks club

I have two rooms booked for the friday night, at premier inn's Cardiff Ocean Park. (Around 1 1/2 mile from centre) 2 double rooms. We have now decided we are going to go down on the day, so anybody want these rooms? Thinks its something like £105 for both rooms? PM me if your interested

Just thought id let you know that i emailed the club to see if it would be possible to get an extra ticket with my season ticket. They said if i apply by writing then it will be sorted
-
Why dont you email the club with your idea and see what they say? Its worth a try
-
Anyone looking for accomodation for the friday night? Theres still a couple of rooms at Premier Travel Inn's - Cardiff East site! Dont go off what it says online, phone up
-
Keep hoping Hughsey as this could well be the scenario now and not just from Rovers fans Maybe Arsenal will take a small amount but i doubt it. With Newcastle and Man U, they will have no problem selling out. Geordies are fanatics, no matter where it is. Man United can boycott all they want, but there other fans will just snap up the tickets

I get that many, but for most of us it isnt SOLELY the leave. Thats what you are missing. Most members on here have one OR MORE of the following concerns.... 1) Work 2) Partner 3) Kids 4) Public Transport (or rather lack of) 5) Cost 6) Hotel 7) Where to park? 8) Physical time to get there, park, get into the cenrte of Cardiff.........All by bloody lunchtime? The FA fans charter makes interesting reading. 1) Work – If possible take leave – If not look at taking unpaid leave as this is a one off occasion. 2) Partner – Tell her to come. The more people in our end, the better. 3) Kids – Problem il agree. This one Is hard work for most. If possible though, take them to the game. 4) Public Transport (or rather lack of) – The words in the bracket say it all. However there will be coaches going from the ground, pubs, supporters clubs and also planes going to Cardiff airport surely? 5) Cost – Hotel (£45 per room – half if you share with someone), Ticket £25, Car with 4 people (£15 each for petrol) – So really before you have any drinks or food or wotever you want to buy. It could cost you as little as £65 6) Hotel – There are places available, the effort and time just has to be put in. Cancellations will come available now the dates have been confirmed. 7) Where to park? – Lots of car parks around the ground. May cost you a fiver or so. 8) Physical time to get there, park, get into the cenrte of Cardiff.........All by bloody lunchtime? – I agree time is a pain, but I don’t think its too bad. Like iv said before, at least you will get home at a sensible hour, rather than 1 or 2 in the morning. I am only trying to drum up support. Just trying to push a few fans into maybe going that are thinking of not bothering.

Well there you have it most people don't get such generous holiday entitlements. Who do you work for? Even if i didnt have the time i would take a days unpaid leave. Its a day that may never happen again in your lift time - although i think it will happen again. I just hope rovers fans buy as many tickets as possible. It would be embarrassing to have something like 15,000 fans there
-
Because people have day jobs or limited finances you idiot. Not everybody can just take time off on a friday to stop over. Surely if you booked your day off now there wouldnt abe a problem? I too have a day job and cant really afford it, but il be there!
-
Simple fact is that lots of people are making up excuses. There will be hundreds of coaches going from pubs etc and if you really wanted to go then you could get there. Fair enough the time isnt ideal but you just got to deal with it and get there, however you do it and support your club. Why not travel down on the friday and stay over at night? Then travel back after the game?

I can still be "forever blue", that is the colour of my blood. When the cost becomes more than you can afford, and the FA make following football more expensive, it can become impossible. Maybe you grow money on trees ? They grow in branches! Get a loan. Its the 1st FA Cup semi we have had for 45 years.
-
Why??? Is your instructor going to hold a gun to your head and say, you must take this lesson?! No Crap excuse. Make up another!
-
I cant believe people are moaning about time, date, location, banter, beer, travel, hotels etc etc etc... We were well aware before that we would be playing in cardiff so it stop late to moan now! Get your tickets and support the club.... if you really are a true blue.
-
If you go via coach from a pub, then as usual pubs will be open before. If you go on the friday then you can go out in cardiff on friday. Also you can go out when you get back from cardiff to celebrate. Whats the problem!
-
Im happy with that, While some will moan that you have to set off early, there is also the plus that you will get back at a reasonable hour. Should be back for around 6 or 7. Hotels booked for the friday so cant wait!

What has happened to gallagher. Hes gone from being a talented lad who looked good to looking very poor on the premier league stage
