  1. Well I'm replacing my ipod and I'm thinking about getting a Creative Jukebox Zen Touch. I only have one area of concern and that is that it may not work on the Apple Powerbook I'm now planning on getting.

On a side not and related to this I'm interested in selling a 40gb Ipod. It's in good condition and is only about a year and a half old (bought last christmas). It would come with a protective case, belkin battery addition pack (meaning you can attach it to regular batteries when power is running low) as well as a headphone remote. If interested pm me or something.

  2. Well right now my top three choices are:

    Apple Powerbook G4 1,67 GHz SuperDrive 512 17" Avis internaute supérieur à 5 sur 10

    Processeur : PowerPC G4 à 1,67 GHz, mémoire vive : 512 Mo, disque dur : 100 Go

    Toshiba Qosmio G20-109

    Processeur : Intel Pentium M 750 à 1,86 GHz, mémoire vive : 1 Go, disque dur : 160 Go

    Sony Vaio VGN-A417S

    Processeur : Intel Pentium M 760 à 2 GHz avec technologie Centrino, mémoire vive : 1 Go, disque dur : 100 Go

  3. Alright well I'll be looking to buy a laptop within the next month or two for university. I'll want it to be good for doing work, nothing too complicated just basic things, internet browsing (plenty of it) and also good for playing games and playing dvd's.

The price range isn't really a problem, so basically anything any of you consider to fit that description would do.

  4. And please folks, read the thread before asking questions. The same things are being answered over and over.

Conversely it would be appreciated if new questions were answered. mad.gif

Maybe you should not ask such difficult questions biggrin.gif

Funny you should mention that Ed.

The same thought occured to me biggrin.gif

This is all getting a bit confusing.

  5. Thing about the playoffs in the Championship (hate the name) is that I don't dislike any of the teams but at the same time have no particular fondness for any of them either. This means that everytime one of them goes through I have some small reason to be pleased, but at the same time every team that get knocked out I feel sorry for them. I've never watched the playoffs before when I haven't either had a strong liking or dislike of at least one of the teams.

  6. Just one minor issue with the new format and was wondering if someone would clear it up for me. When quoting now the quote is included in the text box in which you type the reply, often this leads to me deleting something important I suppose so the quote simply says /quote or something of the sort a couple of lines after it rather than form an seperate box, what exactly do I have to do to get the quote box?

  7. Hopefully Hughes and Williams apologised not only for the manner of the sacking but the far greater crime of sacking TP in the first place .

All water under the bridge now , but I'd like to think that the decent attendance last night reflected the outrage that was felt at the time ...

I think the decent attendance reflected how the Blackburn public appreciated the service Parkes has given to the club, I doubt very little turned up with the intention of showing their outrage for how he had been dismissed. In fact, I believe most on the messageboard here thought it unfortunate that the situation was handled so poorly but actually felt that the decision itself was the correct one. Tony had spent plenty of time at the club and was a wonderful and loyal servant for the club in an era when such longevity and loyalty are rare. Having said that, his time had probably come and it was important that Hughes and the new staff cleaned out the closet, both on and off the pitch, unfortunately I think that Parkes was one of those who had to go.

I hope he enjoyed the night as much as all of those who attended did. Unfortunate that he could not of been cheered off by a full house, that is what he truly would have deserved.

  8. My Dad's a Preston fan so I will be going to Cardiff for the second time this year to cheer them on (should be a better game this time as well).

As a fan of North-West football I am really looking forward to having so many teams in the PL next year, getting fed up with London-centric media down here...

    Touch wood that is?

  9. I understand that, possible error, or perhaps he misread. I seem to recall we used to have them but then with the version of the mb before this they were gotten rid of along with date joined, but I am glad to see them back, jsut another piece of information for the stato's.
