B'burn End Row 10 Seat 160
Just bought in a charity auction a signed pair of David Bentley's Puma boots. They are fantastic and 100% genuine. He has now stopped giving out signed memorabilia as people take advantage to make money. The boots alone RRP for £90 but these have his name printed on the tab. Got them for £380. Anyone got any idea on their actual value and future value if he leaves and when his england career flourishes? Thanks Edited April 13, 2008 by B'burn End Row 10 Seat

Biddy
About £90 if the boots are still mint. I wouldn't pay a premium for a footballers signature, heck you can get TV stars for about £10-£15.

T.V stars are surely not as desirable as full england international footballers!
Hughesy
£380 is alot for his boots!! You will be lucky if you ever get that back
S15
You'll never get it back but the fact you paid that amount for them surely suggests you didn't buy them to sell on? If you did, sorry. Unless he goes on to score the winner for England in the 2010 WC Final. Then you're laughing. But ironically then you'd want to keep them. You've entered a vicious circle my friend. Ozz
Why not launch them at David when he turns out at Ewood for the Spurs, whilst crying your eyes out. If he plays that is.
