[Archived] Email Sending Virus Out?

ive run anti virus and super anti spy to no avail.

ive done this on pc and lap top. is it possible to be in my blackberry? help .

its sending something like http://bit.ly

with other varying letters.

This happened to me a week or two back Abbey. Emails were going out to all of my contacts with an advertising message.

Run Malwarebytes, as well as superantispyware. I've scanned with AVG free as well. After all that, it still happened once more.

I've since changed my email password and used those scans almost daily. Touch wood, had no problems since.

I did read however, that sometimes there's nothing you can do, because the emails are being sent from someone else's computer, but with your address as the sender.

that's known as being "joe-jobbed", and it happened to me once, not pleasant.
