ABBEY Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 You reckon I am too don't you Abbey? You've certainly gone biggest poacher to @#/? of a gamekeeper I didn't think they were helpful while the match was going on and we were battling against relegation at the time certainly. But my main objection then is the same as it is now, people were protesting to remove Venky's with no back up plan or thought for the consequences. If there's another Jack Walker waiting to step in fine. But there isn't a hope in hell that a supporters trust or a couple of well meaning local businessmen without any particular financial clout could keep us afloat financially as the accounts for the period since relegation have proved. A viewpoint you also agree with unless I've misinterpreted all your recent posts? So let's keep the debts piling up accrue more n more bet the credit card folk live you

Leonard Venkhater Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Rev Blue wasn't in favour of the protests I seem to rem...... Am I right Simon? I know who I'd have to do the catering. £30 quid a head and all fed with 5 loaves, two little fishes and a few bottles of water! That Jesus must have been gormless mucking about Israel with a bunch of mates.... he could have made a fortune by opening a string of CFC's Glad you went down the Bible route and not the other one!

A viewpoint you also agree with unless I've misinterpreted all your recent posts? No I agree entirely. However (and this is something you should have considered) when I was protesting we had almost 50m pa Premier League income to fall back on. Now we have zilch. The banks wouldn't touch us with a barge pole now and no way could we pay wages and operating costs. The club and 140 years of history would simply cease to exist. I've a feeling that as with gav the sacking of Allardyce 6 months previously clouded your judgement and went a long way in selling the new owners to you.
thenodrog Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Glad you went down the Bible route and not the other one! Other one? I'm struggling with that.
Feniscowles Blue Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 If you could bear to see a cheating scumbag like Diouff in a Rovers shirt playing at the top level of English football in front of a worldwide audience of millions you can surely allow Merson to regurgitate stale anicdotes in the Premier suite. Diouf was our cheating scumbag, Merson is a cockney spiv who needs to keep his mouth shut and stay away from this town.
