German club Freiburg have today claimed that they have received an offer from Rovers for Papiss Cisse.

Freiburg sporting director Dirk Dufner told Kicker: "I can confirm that Blackburn have made us an offer."

Cisse, who is a Senegal international, has scored has scored 22 goals in this season's Bundesliga and a host of clubs, including Arsenal and Liverpool, are said to be interested in signing him.
