Remember how desperate we were, remember Wharton going, Trav loaned out, injuries and a blob of the first Wharton instalment landing.
Remember Ennis, remember the repeated cock ups trying to sign decent players.
Nobody can be remotely surprised if they took a 4/500k till the end of the season gamble and lets be honest if he's on half that it's still a stupid punt.
Punt?

Anybody know if Broughton still turns up for work or is he gardening?
Everything is smelling of roses, so he must be pretty good at the gardening.

But no one left on loan so why would jdt be annoyed?
I bet I could give you 20 reasons why JDT was annoyed and he was only with us for 18 months. As for me and hopefully you, about 100 reasons.
Travis and Buckley left on loan for starters so there are two, immediately.- 1

Think this confirms who stopped the incomings.
Quite telling isn’t it how we were promised an update on what happened in the transfer window, during the international break. No sign of that yet though. Either no one has the guts to do it, or they haven’t paid the author of fairy tales he fee yet.

Why had they set this alleged deal up anyway ?
Which agents where they using and were they just cutting the wage bill or did they have a nice drink to gain out of it ?
Seems these two operate on a basis soley to try and impress the owners with their cost cutting and keep themselves in several hundred grand a year each. The more time goes on the more this double act is resembling the new Shagnew there are remarkable similarities to that era unfolding.
It's time to oust them !
By the way i'm presuming this loan out involved our next opponents and their quest for a big lad.
It is only a guess on my part, but given it was Pasha involved and he has the direct line to the owners, it will have been a big wage.
Gallagher would be the likely one and given what Waggott said to me about him, it makes me think it is him, even more so,

Tomasson got wind of this and asked the player who told him it was true but he was of the understanding that Tomasson had agreed to it. Tomasson went ballistic at those two and went to town on them, it was said to me that it was the straw that broke the camel's back. Being the cowards that are they were scared they would be called out in his press conference the day before the QPR game and stopped him doing it. This ties in with the 'ask Steve and Pasha' comment after the QPR game.
And Broughton knew nothing of this scurrilous deal.
I was told the name of the player but it would be unfair to name him.
Whether people rated him or not, is irrelevant really now. We have lost a manager who was so honest and decent and prepared to let the fans know about some of the crazy things going on at the club, as he was the only one, who had the philosophy, football is nothing without the fans.
This new guy will simply toe the line now, so it was a very sad day, when JDT left and with it, any hopes of success under these idiots.

Unfortunately, the supporters sitting near the directors seats are amongst the least likely to join in with any protest, in fact they will most likely have the same mentality as the people who sit behind me , (who claim the protestors are “brain dead “).
I think the Pasha mask idea is a good one, but it doesn’t look as if it’s going to fly.
He is definitely the one who needs to be targeted, one way or another.
Sadly, there just isn’t enough stomach for a fight.
With only 3 people having pledged so far, it is unlikely to work and would be pointless.
I will still get a quote, but think we need at least 500 people to be wearing them, for it to make an impact.
Given what was posted yesterday about JDT getting away with saying anything, but once he mentioned Suhail, his feet didn't touch the ground, I do think it is an ideal opportunity to expose them/him on TV so for anyone of the sam opinion, get your pledging in.

I would like to give a contribution to the cost, just let me know how to donate.
Can I suggest a slogan to use? Something like The Faceless One.
Just a pledge to buy 5 for now is fine. I think they will be around £1.50 each, if we order enough.
If there is enough interest, I will order them early next week.- 1

Following on from my suggestion on the Venky's out thread, I have now had a response from the makers of the masks, which I have pasted at the end of this message. I should have a price tomorrow and confirmation if it can be done.
I am going to need some pledges and will be happy to fund up to 500 myself, so long, as I can get pledges say for each person on here to buy 5 off me. Wear one yourself and sell 4 to a friend or family member.
All to be worn for the Ipswich game, as this game is on TV and I will ensure Sky are aware of it and what the reasons are.
If there is enough interest, I will arrange for the delivery and distribution close to the ground and will give instructions on how to collect.
Thanks for getting in touch, would the masks be with elastic or sticks? and A4 or A3?
To produce high quality face masks we need a forward facing photo that’s a close up of the person’s whole head, with a minimum file-size of 2mb. If you zoom in to the image so that the face is roughly A4 size on a computer screen, you’ll get a very good idea of the final print quality.
Please avoid sending screenshots from a mobile phone or tablet, as this will limit the size of the image we receive regardless of the size/quality of the original. Please also avoid Facebook images, as Facebook compresses photos on upload to make them much smaller than the original photo, which means they’re not suitable for facemasks.
Kind Regards,

Okay, lets get a price for 2,000.
Can we gauge how many would be up for it on here and I can get a site sorted similar to crowd funding, or maybe a paypal account sorted..
Anyone up for it, just say so and see if a friend or two not on here is game too.
Let's aim for at least 2,000

Yep and that's why those two need to be first port of call in regards to any stick being given out.
They won't answer questions, not with any real conviction or truth anyway in Swags case, whilst the other fella just hides.
Leave the manager out of it he was just wheeled in quick to deflect the attention.
Just a thought this and feel free to shoot me down. What about getting a couple of thousand Suhail masks and all wearing them for the sky game V Ipswich.
He will be on TV x 2,000 then and can hardly hide form that.

There is NO money laundering through Rovers and BRFC are not under investigation NOR are they linked to anything Venkys have done with their Indian tax returns!
It’s all well and good making posts like this, failing to respond, then disappearing for weeks. What is it with you?
You have still not stated what it was that you knew after your meeting with Waggott, was going to change the picture for the good and everything was going to be okay. It seems you were pointed in a totally different direction, to what has really happened. If he hoodwinked you, why not man up and say so, as you are beginning to look rather foolish.

Huge credit to whoever came up with the venkys chant.
Non confrontational, no swearing and no rapidly chanting venkys out without some berk piping in with "well what do we do without them".
To have nearly 1000 fans singing it in unison for that second half gave me hope that there is a beating heart left in the fanbase. Not a single bit of division in todays following.
As for the game it is what it is, probably our best under Eustace which isn't saying much, never looked like winning but a decent point to take away.
Incredible that by the end of the season we could end up staying in the league by winning 2 out of our last 28 games, shows what miracles our previous manager worked with this squad.
Based on the results and points collected so far, 0 wins, 7 draws and 2 defeats, that would bring 35 points over the season and certain relegation.
I loved the football under JDT but I am struggling to accept the new manager. If he does keep us up he has done a job I guess, but surely he has got to start at least trying to win.
Two more wins and I think we are safe, as I am sure he will pick up 2 or 3 more draws, but although yesterday was a point earned, I am definitely struggling to be contest with 3 points from the last 4 games, given the quality of the opposition.

He'll be a victim of the summer cull and for those who always have it in for him i think they'll be disappointed when an academy lad replaces him.

We've been through this with Dolan many times over and he keeps getting written off but bounces back however that usually comes after a spell out either injured or dropped.
We do though miss him when he is out for a spell although that is more to do with how weak the squad is than the actual player himself sometimes. That squad weakness though means he and some others can't be managed properly and withdrawn/rotated when they are poor.
I'd keep him on an average contract but certainly wouldn't be throwing big money and 4 years at him.
Between you and me, we don’t have any big money to throw at him.

As they are our next opponents, who do you think from Rovers was at Portman Road today watching them?
Probably nobody as we couldn’t afford the bus fare.

Look a decent organised team for once, declined balls not dropping for us today and delivery from Pickering and Hedges letting us down. Pitch seems very slippy and Buckley not outstanding but if you look how many times he has bossed O’brien and won the ball back he is control middle of the park
He has had a decent game Buckley and to be fair, this has been our best half so far under Eustace. We look capable of scoring and date I say it, coming away with an unexpected win.
Us fans deserve that for sure, after the last few weeks, so hope we can do it.

I’m in the camp McFadzean is poor too. His age is against him of course, but he is way to slow to play the high line we did last week. Plymouth were not threading balls through, it was a straight forward ball over the top that caught us several times last week.
I suspect we will go with a back four today and guess even Eustace now knows, that we desperately need a win.
My heart is already pumping, as I do fear at least a two goal defeat, but hope we can play with a bit more freedom today and sneak a win.

That backs up what Arbitro posted a few days ago, although he did stop short of naming the player.
