This is a fantastic article. How do we get this out to a wider audience? We really need to ramp up the pressure on the Rao family. As a fan of 40 years, they are even starting to kill my spirit now.

It is known by the wider audience so to speak. I got the full article E Maile me today, by a journalist who is a sports reporter for one of the regular red tops.

He must have started about 5 games for us so hard to say if he was any good or not. Just a completely bizarre signing and re-selling of a player. Add it to the list since the Venkys showed up

Perhaps someone wanted a punt on him getting less than 3 goals for the season.

It's unlucky that Rovers didnt have enough points to stay up at the end of the season. We shouldnt be blaming anyone, we are just unluckly.

You are spot on. I mean how unlucky to have trusted someone to send an E Mail, who didn't know the difference between the words Send and Save. Nearly all of the letters are the same, well at least 50% of them, as we have an S and and E in both words.

    Just our luck that.

Hope Tronstad is back for this one. If not I would start Ayari alongside Buckley. Garrett struggles too much positionally.

Tronstad will not be back until after the international.

He lives across the Road from my brother, who saw him yesterday and he confirmed 4 weeks out.

The meeting is being delayed at the request of the fans, not the club. We wanted a meeting to be after the next court date in India, rather than the day before. Likely to be on 26th now.

Has the court date been put back?

Thought it was just me. Tried one interview and it was a banal collection of cliches largely consisting of ‘Blackburn’ ‘you know’ ‘togetherness’, ‘Hedgy’, ‘Pearsy’ etc etc 🙄

I’m back to swerving all their pre and post match tripe like I’ve been for every Venky appointment, JDT aside.

I haven’t listened to a single interview yet. I get the impression, he has been place there to simply toe the line and take the spotlight off others.

I was told on Friday by a respected National press reporter, that he does not like talking to the media and is very uncomfortable doing so.

  7. It's got Millwall away win written all over this.

The have just enjoyed back to back wins and have got the much needed new manager bounce.

    Rovers 0 - Millwall 2.

No excuses, we move on to Plymouth and then the international break and the explanation of the button gate saga.

There is the little matter of the court hearing too, so it could be all over bar the shouting very soon.

Seems no time at all since we were 10 points away from a relegation place and people were thinking we would be OK this season but would struggle next.

We are in a real dog-fight now. Is there enough fight left in the dog?

I think the dog is on its way to the vet to have its injection. I hope I’m wrong, but can’t see us beating Millwall on Tuesday, who unlike us, have had the new manager bounce and back to back wins. Oh how Rovers need the same right now. Lose on Tuesday and Saturday becomes a real pressure cooker.

Sold Wharton, loaned out Travis, brought in the crocked Fleck and already lumbered us with Moran.

The man responsible for the football side of things, Gregg Broughton ladies and gentleman.

Sorry, you simply cannot blame him for this. Waggott and the owners have sabotaged this together. No money spent players sold or loaned out to save money and although the fans do not deserve relegation, it’s happening in my opinion.

  10. A few on here were predicting a hammering before the game. Those who did I am sure will be happy to be proven wrong. For those who said they don’t care about the cup, the game, the occasion the grit and determination, all say you should care.

I am still shaking from the tension that the pens brought, but despite the huge disappointment at the minute, yet again I’m proud to say I’m Rovers till I die.

Well done to everyone tonight, it was a great spectacle and a performance to savour.

Totally Wicked on the front of Rovers' away shirt

Totally Wicked have been confirmed as Rovers’ principal sponsor for the 2022/23 season.

The club have reached a one-year deal with the local vaping company that took over sponsorship in January.

That came when the deal with Australian-based Recoverite Compression was cut short, by mutual agreement, 18 months into a three-year deal.

Totally Wicked stepped into the breach, with their branding on the front of the home, away and third shirts.

That will continue, with a deal signed for the 2022/23 season, while they will also remain training kit sponsors, a deal that has been in place for five years.

Rovers turned down offers from gambling companies in their search for a new sponsor, with Recoverite having ended a six-year run of betting firms, following Dafabet and 10Bet.
