January Transfer window

Here we go folks, get ready to be disappointed, looking on the telegraph website, sky sports, on this forum etc? We'll most likely sign 1 or 2 more in desperation after we've had weeks to actually add more quality rather than numbers. We've all been here before so do not get yourselves exited over what will be another underwhelming day. Like I said a week or so back, without any shadow, the best transfer we could hope for today would be Waggot being transfered to a retirement home -
Mr Steve Waggot, I know you read these pages so please let it be known, you are going to be known as one of the most disliked chairmen/CEO in the clubs 150 years history. Show some integrity, you've had a good ride and you've been rewarded financially for all your lies and failures. Step down, retire, give Rovers fans some hope for the future.

January Transfer window

So depressing being a Rovers fan, how many more years are we to put up with the utter shit show. Best transfer would be a taxi ride to the retirement home for Waggot and for Venkys to finally fook off. I'm tired. -

Let's hope it doesn't happen then -
Trying to find this but can't, could you point me in right direction. Cheers.

This time LAST WEEK most certainly.
-
As I write this only 39 seats are left. We'll realise before the end of the day if the end blocks will be opened. A full week of sales yet!!!

I think he was talking when tickets for the game were first advertised for sale, I remember the same..

Did we have a different/new stadium announcer yesterday against Sunderland? -
Trav yes (Baker) Picks not too bothered with Beck.

Current sales DE-4k JW-9.5k RS-4k BE-6.6k Total 24k

The atmosphere plays a huge part in all this for the younger fan generation. They'll not be disappointed for this game, certainly do no harm for improved attendances for the rest of the campaign. (Results pending obvs)

About 400 or so

Apologies Matty, I'm just caught up in this new found positively we currently find ourselves in. So pleased they've seen sense and opened the BB END upper, which has already sold a few hundred. More positives are this will be the largest home crowd since the Oxford game. That game was discounted heavily, and as you rightly pointed out the prices, time, tv etc could have effects. Just gives me great pleasure knowing fans are out there. If only we had decent owners who managed the club properly.
-
Waggot will be saving cash on kiosks and stewards etc. He won't commit to a full sale until they've shifted.
-
Remember this pal?
-
Good stuff, when did you mail the club and what did you mention?
-
I do, irrespective of selling EVERY single ticket in the Riverside. Only 1.6k left now, with 17 days left of sales. I'd be very surprised if it wasn't opened, but then again, we all know a certain Mr Waggot..
-
Correct Swags clearly saving pennies on stewards, staff and police.
-
Even if they don't sell out the upper tier it would look and sound a whole lot better than 3k empty seats in a stand.
-
2029 seats left. JW = 350 RS = 1679 Based on home current home areas (estimate) 19.5k that's 17.41k sold. weeks to go. Come on Swag.... BB End needs opening now. It's of great benefit to vocal support from the home end and get that Derby crowd past 25k We see how it looks and sounds on several occasions when the Darwen End is full.
-
I agree, we give the Nobbers the full end so why not the unwashed? Shame.
-
To look at it another way, a few fans didn't bother with ST's this season due to the new Sky TV deal and the ridiculous rearranged games and kick off times. Pick and choose...
