Might not be a bad shout on a free. Scored 13 goals before doing his ACL, came back and scored 10 with 3 assists. Got pace, can finish and will want to prove himself at a higher level. As a firm believer of signing players who excell in the lower leagues, I'd like to see us get this one done as a low risk punt. Certainly not as a main summer signing.

I'd like Ayari back only on a view to buy basis. If we've developed him for 2 seasons then it would be nice to make him our own if he hits form.

Trying to take some positives here... I'm glad we're still heavily investing in the youth model, it's what's kept us alive. We can somewhat compete with bigger clubs for players at that age because we can offer them a pathway so I don't have a problem spending to compete for the academy.

Absolutely. Do you not think they're looking at who's scored the most goals in Serie B, Ligue 2, Bundesliga 2... Those kinds of clubs can't attract many of the top scorers from the main top leagues. This is their kind of market.

This says it all. Never mind the call up, deserves to start and better than Mainoo in a lot of aspects. Absolutely made up for Adam, potentially the best player we've ever brought through the academy... There's not much to be proud of as a Rovers fan but this is definitely something to be proud of. Top lad.
