We are struggling a little as we're staying Wed/Thur/Fri

Any suggestions.

Plus is it worth ringing some of the places direct rather than using internet based booking system, will they have extra spare rooms etc?

I rang up this morning as I didn't want to book travel and hotel without a promise of tickets and they said that I could put the forms in but they could not guarantee I would get tickets, as they had a lot of applications to process.

I tried to find the topic which had debate from Poll taking centre stage in out defeat at Old Trafford in the Carling Cup semi-final, but couldn't.

However, yet again, the 'Thing from Tring' has stolen the limelight in 2 matches recently - funnily enough featuring the top teams in the league (again).

I think Poll should be relegated to the Championship to ref there as he has consitently shown that he gets too involved with WHO he's reffing, instead of just applying the letter of the law.

Good that Utd lost tonight - bad for Rovers on saturday, we may be on the end of a backlash. Although Utd must be more scared considering Rovers are due a backlash after 3 league defeats!!

I think he deserves a run in the side, maybe as support for benni.

It wasn't a great turnout, i can't understand why people don't get excited about watching Rovers in Europe. For me and my mates these are the most exciting games this season.

If we're not in Europe for another 5/10 years then I'd like to be able to say that I was there when we were beating the likes of Salzburg, Basle and more hopefully.

Imagine the amazing atmoshere if we had a full 30,000 at Ewood.

Agree with bp, I always think that when Gally comes on he looks like a class player, he looks to create changes for himself and others. I think when we are playing flat (in most 1st halves recently) he would make a positive difference and bridge the midfield/attack.

Great result, although couldve been different if Brad hadn't made some world class saves in 1st half.

SKY were pioneers of football broadcasting and revolutionary. the camera work and commentary are still the best around (alan parry and marwood aside).

the main problem is with the pre match build up /guests and discussion. it is being dumbed- down. you see the same guests and interviewees week in and wk out.

i think the fact that they are getting more and more subscribers, has led to complacency and an inferior product.

The Sky coverage of Rovers is rubbish, they just don't know anything about our team any more:

- It was suggested Tugay should take penaties.

- They didn't mention Bentley's goalscoring/ good form at all.

- They said that Benny and Roberts were a new partnership - what happend to the start of the season??

Yes, he probably would, in the case of the other Mihajovic he was called a 'gypsy' by Viera after calling him a monkey. They both got told off I think.

Since the police have recommended that everyone stay in Amsterdam, do you think there will be special pre/post match trains laid on to get everyone back on the night?

I think someone a while ago said that the last scheduled train was only 30mins or something after full time. Plus there will be about a thousand people, could be a good laugh if/WHEN we win.

I think that Sav and Bentley should be able to shake off their injuries from last night.

As already said, hopefully we'll play right from the start this time, against City and Wigan we just didn't start playing til 2nd half. I think Bolton will punish us more if that happens again.

My feeling is that Big Sam will deploy his spoiler tactics again and reduce the game to scraps (like past few seasons) hopefully we'll rise above it and win.
