  1. Has anybody listened to Jake Buggs album, best debut from a uk musician ive heard since Definitely Maybe(its more folky/country/indie/rocknroll than oasis's flat out indie rocknroll though), stunning.
  2. HHHhhhhhmmmm looks good, gonna have to give them a call somtime.
  3. criticising peoples spelling, grammar and punctuation in an attempt to belittle them, more classic symptoms of trolling(and ironically enough your grammar & punctuation above seems wrong to my eyes), if you want to carry on please do it via a pm so as not to clog this thread up(personally i have absolutely nothing further to say to you). goodnight, sleep tight, don't let the bedbugs bite(and all that).
  4. At least i now have a fair idea of where your initial comment stems from!, each to there own though, enjoy working on your handicap.
  5. firstly jeez your going back a bit, secondly he didn't offer any kind of opinion that was my issue!, he just randomly left a chippy negative comment with absolutely no explanation(i think that's called trolling nowadays). p.s. I was given a warning at the time for using that word, if that gives your sensitive soul some satisfaction, so need to go telling tales as i think for some reason you are just trying to get me banned(please pm me your issue if that is the case).
  6. no i thought it was quite appropriate!!!. (i also realize why i had that diff on ignore)
  7. The chef was on marco pierre whites tv show recently, the food was well recieved from what i remember..
  8. a change from all the the usual(boring) indian, chinese, english places in blackburn though(and supposed to be very well priced for what you get).
  9. Has anybody been to 'Calypso'(caribbean restaurant) at Eanam wharf?, supposed to be really good with great tasty food.
  10. ahhh get ya(doh!), Was that an intentional metaphor?, I always thought 'to spend a penny' was just an obscure old english saying(because my grandma was the only person i ever really heard use it). I think the final episodes next year will mainly be Walt Vs Hank and i hope Jessie gets some kind of a happy ending(but i doubt it).
  11. you'v gone over my head a little their mate. I just thought poor Jessie, hes just been left a pathetic shadow of his former self because of Walt(who is now just a complete sociopath), dont know why but i had a feeling the final episode was going to end with Walts son going off and smoking meth somwhere!(it didnt happen though).
  12. !!!!No Spoilers here!!!! Just finished watching season 5(eps 1-8) of Breaking Bad, Bloody hell that was heavy!, i didnt think it could get much darker than the last couple of seasons but season 5 really is like staring into a black hole and seeing no light at the end of it(and very little humour in this season), dont get me wrong its still as great as ever just seriously nerve shreddingly tense and as bleak as it gets. pist of that we have to wait another year for the final halve of season 5, i only started watching the show recently because i was told the currenet season would be the final, so there would be no waiting a year(bit of a cop out that they decided to split the season in two).
  13. Have you seen a film called possession, its an early 80s psychophysical horror staring Sam Neil, it was recommended by mark kermode on his blog a year or 2 ago, id never heard of it but i like far out surreal films and possession definitely is that(then some!).
  14. Really want to see Dredd, But cant be arsed with 3d(its just a distracting novelty that's not worth having to pay extra £ for, as far as im concerned), ill have to wait for blue-ray.
  15. Uruguayan original or US remake?, i so the original a few years ago and thought it was let down by a very poor final 20mins, I think id like to see the remake though just for Elizabeth Olsen(who was great in Martha Marcy May Marlene).
  16. sorry, it just seems like a pretty absurd thing to criticise a film over, Karl Urban has never actually been to middle earth, but he was still pretty good in Lord Of The Rings!
  17. I've actually got great taste in films of all kinds normally(if do say so myself!), I just think peoples opinions of DKR and John Carter in particular have been totally manipulated by the way they have been marketed and gushed over(or slaughtered) by the critics, only time will tell how good a film really is(or isn't).
  18. That was a good film and it def shouldn't be looked at as any kind of naff reboot or remake its a very good smart film in its own right., some great action and effects in the final 3rd after a long(and quite emotional!) build up.
  19. Just watched John Carter(yes, of Mars!), Stuff the critics(especially kermode), its actually a really good old fashioned type of family (sci-fi/adventure) film, it has its flaws&plot holes but far less so than Dark Knight Rises and you don't really care cos Carters not a film that takes its self that seriously anyway(again unlike the smug hack job DKR).
  20. You are being sarcastic right??? OK, You're one of those! (onto the ignore list you go, along with you're selective memory and condescending arrogance).
  21. that actually is the precise issue!!!, and he has shown he can do a good job, "cant run"- 50% of centre forwards cant run well(he scores when given the chance, thats all the matters), you just seem to have a narrow minded view of what a centre forward should be like(its the FM effect). I imagine you would like a team full of Theo Walcotts(he's just a pampered athelete,he can run all day long but has the footballing brain of an hampster)
  22. To be fair he does look a lot trimmer than he has done in the past, he just has that short stocky barrel chested bodytype(dunn, gascoigne, rooney, me!) that makes him look like hes carrying more weight than he actually is. It just seems with certain players it doesnt matter how hard they work in training or how profesional they are they just dont get any respect from the crooked scottish slimeball.
  23. Theirs some narrow minded hypocrites on here, some of the comments above slating Goodwillie are pathetic and completely non-football related, hes just a young lad whos been in a few scrapes when he was playing in Scotland, since moving here hes been as professional as any other young footballer, and when he gets game time he usual looks dangerous and lively(or at least more so than any other centre forward we have!), there is no reason on earth why Ediniho was picked ahead of him it was a totally disrespectful decision by scumbag kean(which is where all the blame should be going).
