I'd play Scotty in place of Hyam. If he can't do tippy tappy football then he must clear his lines, after all that's what Hill did when closed down. He hoofed it over to the right wing to Brittain who scored a great goal. That "hoof"was celebrated as "a great pass".
I hope Benson has taught Leo to catch. I hope Siggy has recovered from whatever it was and is back to his best. I want to see more of Ennis.
Cummon Rovers! You can win this one.

SS has missed some chances lately... hopefully he scores on saturday...a hattrick would be nice.
His late chance was on target but tipped onto the cross bar by the keeper.

Leo's gaff wasn't bad as people have made out IMO. Maybe he should have used his foot but didn't.

I wonder if he's carrying a knock?

The Championship is one crazy league. It's predictable an unpredictable every season. Predictable in that 1 team always runs away with top spot - this season it will be Leicester. Then another team is usually a solid 2nd. After that it's mayhem.
Rovers sit in 15th - only 3 points off a playoff spot
Huddersfield are 18th - 6 points away from the bottom 3, yet only 5 points short of 6th.
It's barmy.
I love it.

I've just watched the whole game on Rovers TV. I can't get to Ewood these days due to circumstances beyond my control.
I must eat humble pie. Dolan, whom I've slagged off many times, had a very good game and is improving. He must keep his place.
The whole game was enjoyable. I didn't see the tippy tappy football of last season (when our boys were learning their trade under JDT). This was a good game to watch. We play well. And so do Cardiff who seem to be getting it together under this new manager.
Normally I'm quite pessimistic about Rovers but now I think we really are going in the right direction. It's still work in progress but we're getting there.

Captain Hyam (or Travis?) should be marshalling the troops.

Must have been a fluke. He hasn't got a footballing brain

I think Harry Leonard will make a good striker. From what I've seen of him he impresses me far more than Butterworth or Vale ever did. Give him more game time and he'll get better.

More self entitled bollocks making people seem like they know what they are talking about.
Why is a number 6 now considered a midfielder? Always a centre back.
Depends when you were born and when you watched football as a youngster. Back in my day No6 was Left Half e.g. Mick McGrath. No5, the centre half, had dropped back in line with the full backs. But yes, when 4-4-2 was the line up it was usually 5 and 6 as centre backs.

Pascal Chimbonda appointed manager at Skelmersdale Utd.
His first managerial appointment. I wish him all the best. Judging by his history he seems to be one of the few footballers that actual love the game be it playing or (and now) managing.

If Dolan can keep on improving his final ball, i.e. when to pass, when to shoot and not be too greedy he'll be ok.

I watched the whole match on Rovers TV yesterday. I didn't think QPR were as bad as some make out. We were better of course. Leo has to stay in goal. I like the back four. Brittain can become a right winger for me.(Don't know the modern terminology for it). Markanday must keep his place.
Must keep the same team selection for the next game.
The older chap in that video was the video maker's dad. Also, his uncle, a Wolves supporter, has recently died aged 62.

No. He's saying to his mate," I bet in 94 years time they won't even open the Blackburn End for a cup-tie. Some guy called Maggot will be running the club."

Fords were always buggers to start in the winter. Someone said to me, "Buy a Ford. They're cheap and the spare parts are cheap". That was because they weren't made very well and rubbish parts were always failing.
