On the way home after a depressing night. We played well for 20 minutes at the end of the first half but the rest was forgettable and the late goal entirely predictable

Rovers fans few in number at the Ricoh and subdued most of the time. It’s going to be a long hard winter

Bloody Hell, Jim. So it's all your fault. Every away game you go to, we lose. Please stop going.

  2. Last few games shows that the manager (head coach) has lost it. Let's hope he can give his head a wobble and change things. If he continues like this we are going down.

Can't keep blaming the thin squad. We have some good young players. It needs a manager with a bit of (Warnock, Allardyce ) nouse. JDT needs to learn quickly and be brave enough to change his strategy.

Is not the discussion, it's the constant "Is JDT looking for the Sack!" "What the F**k is that?" that is the point, it adds nothing and doesn't look to engage in the discussion. Every match thread is the same. But it's fine I shall ignre them and move on

It's been suggested a few times after the past couple of games.

Good grief!  What a journey! I noted that they are used to coach breakdowns. Two on one journey.  Something wrong there. Modern coaches should be almost breakdown-proof. Whoever hires the coaches should ensure that the coach providers are competent in providing reliable coaches.

  5. Time that refs made their own mind up again. Why can't a ref go to the screen, look at it and turn away to say I was right and my decision stands (Brian Clough style).

Way back when I played football I was taught that "The ref is always right, even when he's made an obvious mistake". Just accept it and get on with the game.

i don`t think  swag reads anything about  the fans,as we speak he`ll be tucking into a 6 course dinner making himself more obese than he already is,maybe he`ll choke on a chicken bone or some other "unfortunate" event will befall him

This made me smile. I had a vision of Monty Python's Mr Creosote.

Don't be surprised if Neil Warnock gets a S.O.S. call before Christmas!

I was wondering about Warnock. I wonder how or if he could change things for the better using this current squad. Be interesting but not going to happen.

Oh, and the best team we've played this season is Harrogate Town. Wish we could play them every week.

  7. I know it's a bit late but I've just watched the whole game. my thoughts are:-

Pears isn't as bad as people make out. He really is very good with his feet and this is needed because of the way we play. I'm not convinced by the new lad. Pears must start against Leicester.

Dolan is useless. there is really no end product. Needs dropping from the squad unless we're desperate.

Harry Leonard will make a great striker. We must persevere with him.

Sam Morsy is a very, very good player. He is just what we need in midfield. I wish we had him. (retires to bunker with tin hat on)
