Drop Leo and play Ben Benson. He can then demonstrate to Leo, Aynsley and the rest of us how it should be done.

Has JDT or anyone given an explanation as to why Szmodics wasn't in the squad today?
Genuine question. I've been away most of the day.
Szmodics and Pickering were still ill. Flu? Sicky bug? Whatever!

If that’s the case then maybe it’s about time the fans made sure their voices are heard.
Theres nothing else.
You mean like the Reading fans today? I don't think Rovers fans have got the bottle to do it. You deserve what you get.

Pears isn't yet match-fit. Moran needs a rest.

Davenport is the odd one out for me. I thought he was a good player and wanted to see more of him in a Rovers shirt. So replace him with Goulon.

Bill Oddy and Tim Brook-Taylor ?
I knew someone would name two of the three. I would have said TBT and Graeme Garden.

Jim is going so it will be the inevitable defeat. 4-0 to WBA
Relegation scrap on the way if we don't sign a couple of goodies.

Missed this a couple of days ago, but Glynis Johns has died, aged 100. Famously the suffragette mother in the Mary Poppins film, and the singer for whom ‘Send in the Clowns’ was written.
I'm sure she played the Salvation Army soldier who stopped Phineas Fogg from getting to his club in time to win the "wager" in "Around the World in Eighty Days" starring David Niven.

Wouldn't say we struck gold. Although I can see why it would look that way.
There are a huge amount of Liverpool and Man Utd fans in Wrexham due to us only being around an hour away from both cities and plenty who saw Wrexham as their second team. Much of the town had written the club off and weren't interested. This goes back to the 90's even when we were in L1 and L2.
TBH in 2019 my patience for watching us go nowhere every season was wearing thin. I knew we couldn't compete financially. I knew that even if we struck gold with a manger that they'd likely be poached from us (Sam Ricketts to Shrewsbury - Keates to Walsall). I knew if we managed to sign any good players that they'd be leaving sooner rather than later for a better deal at the likes of Forest Green and Salford. I'm sure you get it that it grinds you down.
We always had around 2-4k hardcore and another 5k floating who'd come to big games like against Chester and another 10k+ on top of that who'd come to Wembley for Play offs etc. Its hugely frustrating to see we could take 20k plus to Wembley then the next home league game would be under 5k there.
There's quite a bit of resentment in our hardcore fans to new comers "taking their tickets". But i guess if you want success this is the price you pay.
Any fan Wrexham fan mocking Blackburn's attendances is clearly on the wind up and looking for a bite.
I'm enjoying the rapport from an opposition fan in peace more than others in the past. At least you now understand us and our woes and we understand you and yours perfectly.

I see Ash Philips has been loaned out by Spurs to Plymouth Argyle.
I wish he had come back here.

Who is Brum's CEO? Has he been sacked? Wishful thinking.

There’s some really half hearted challenges going in, half of the players seem to tackle with a feather duster.
If you tackle with anything stronger than a feather duster you'll get a yellow card thanks to the morons who run the game (unless it's a female ref......they seem to let a lot go, thank goodness)

Burnley were beaten but, a bit outclassed, put up a brave fight. Let's hope Wigan can beat Urine Detachments.

I want Burnley to beat Tottenham. Can't stand the arrogance of the Spurs' supporters.
Clarrots pinned back in their own half for most of the first half.
I absolutely loath VAR.

Another transfer window where Venkys are now allowed to release funds for transfers
Is this confirmed now?
Is that "now allowed" or is it a typo and should read "not allowed"?
You've answered for me.
I wish the Indian Government would ban them from owning a foreign football club.

We must keep Travis. Club captain. I like him. I'd rather Trav be on our side than the opposition's.

By my calculations we currently have 5 first team players out injured, we had zero budget in the summer to bring anyone of note in and allowed our top goalscorer to leave on a free transfer.
Is anyone surprised we’ve hit a sticky patch?
No. That's why I'm forecasting relegation.

The losses would be much less in L1 as all but the lowest paid players would leave. I suspect Venkys would be quite happy with that.
God help us. Where's that gas oven? Oh! Forgot! It's not coal gas anymore.

Sorry I wasn't really critising, but I don't believe for a second JDT thinks anything will be made available I think he is done and is saving his reputation.
He's trying to get himself sacked.

What the hell is Damien Johnson doing these days? I know he's still at the club and part of the coaching staff but FFS I thought he would have gone to another club by now to try his hand at management. Maybe he's content to be paid and sit with his bum in the butter.

what a stat.
who is holding the egg to account?
imagine if we put that in terms of any other business.. lets say a bakery.
i am the shop keeper but not the owner of a bakery.i employed 3 bakers in 1 year and none of them made any bread. they touched the dough sure, they looked at it, they kneeded it but after 30 attempts all 3 bakers made zero edible bread.
surely the bakery owners would not be to pleased with me??
If their name was Venkys apparently they would!
Venky’s, HMRC…The Plot Thickens ?
