  1. Many thanks for that find! :tu:

A full hour of the NEC live show...top quality stuff. Couldn`t find the 'assassin' download you mentioned.

'knights of Cydonia'...probably THE best ending to a show i`ve seen. The whole of the MEN was absolutely bouncing during the BIG guitar ending bit! B)

I have the version of Assassin, pm me your msn address and I will send to you.

Stockholm Syndrome used to be the best song they ended with, not anymore!!!!

And they have just announced they are first band to play Wembley Stadium next June, tickets on sale Saturday

  2. After 4 home games to date,of which 3 were against local North West opposition, I'm afraid to say that this seasons pricing policy of A+ and A games has been an absolute disaster.....todays attendance v Wigan is some 2,500 down on last season even though we are playing some great football!!!!

More Rovers fans were in attendance v Salzburg(£15) than any of the above league games...if that does not tell Rovers board something it never will.

Would this not have something to do with season ticket holders getting free entry? (IIRC)

  3. What a second half performance!.......wigan were hammered big time, well done Jason Brown, you made your mark today fella.

    WHAT A FANTASTIC WEEK. :rover::brfc:

17,000 home fans.......your missing some great football at Ewood folks.

hammered big time 2nd half? you having a laugh. After that joke of a defender Ooijer gave a penalty away they were bloody dangerous.

Most infuriating was noticing Heskey's pace and strength really got Ooijer worried, for the penalty ushering him out to the side seemed a better choice than taking him down. He wasnt that far in front and it would definately have been the better option

  4. i believe we should have student tickets for match day sales

i think this would increase our attendence as i know a lot of friends that only go to a few games a year at £32, but if they could pay say £20 student ticket they would be able to get to more

Why students, why not young adult tickets just as season ticket wise?

Havent you scroungers got enough as it is, your entire European adventure this summer has been funded by people who work!

  5. Re: the supposed TV coverage - the Hordens were advertising it outside as being shown.

I went early doors to check and was told "Yep it's definitely on - we had a new box put in today specially."

By about 7.40 about 300 people had descended and they attempted to switch from Terrestrial coverage of the Spurs game to Salzburg.

The game was clearly listed as being shown on an ART premium channel but for whatever reason the signal was shown as scrambled.

The landlord complained about them being 500 quid out of pocket (which they weren't because of the number of people buying at least one drink and buggering off)

EDIT: Think the Pub was making a bona fide attempt to show the game, either someone cocked up or they were misinformed by the people installing the box.

I came over to the Hordens at about 8 after rushing around various pubs that were supposed to show it but didnt. I saw them having problems with the scrambled channel, turned round and came back to the local boozer. There was a pub in Accy that showed it as I spoke to few lads later on

  6. Sorry missed this question.

I'm the northern rep looking after you for a company called Flight Options based in the City of London.

Background - Flight Options have been flying fans into Europe for 10 years and are very successful in doing so.

We prefer to have people in each area that have local knowledge etc.

You could book with HO but the price is still the same and I'm basically around 24/7 to assist you.

Bookings are steady but I do expect a rush on Monday and with their only being one plane you do need sort something out pretty quick.

Hope this helps and eases any fears you may have.

    Bookings Hotline: 0845 434 0129

Was just wondering what line of work your in, you've answered my question! :)

  7. Caught the Reading Festival on telly last night......

Arctic Monkeys set looked fantastic. Never heard so many people singing along to the songs. They are definately riding the crest of a wave at the moment. Played well too.

Girls Aloud looked absolutely awesome! A true headline act! Cannot wait to see them at the MEN in November. Zane Lowe said something along the lines of...."if Matt Bellamy had been born 200 years ago, he would`ve been a famous composer." Awesome musicianship.

Primal Scream`s set looked like fun. Good ol`time rock 'n' roll. B)

the kooks had that 'vibe' about them. a happening band of the moment.

    :tu:

    Admin (mainly Ste B) wont let you say M U S E

Fully agreed, im going in November too. Best live act around, just awesome energy

  8. I have both the DS Lite and PSP.

The DS has some top games and pretty much all my mobile gaming is done on that,

PSP is definately more of a multi-media device. I use it to watch movies, most of them are put on the memory stick, also great for watching TV series like Lost, Prision Break and 24. I use a programme called pspvideo 9. Games wise there aren't that many good games on the PSP at the moment, Locoroco is good. Also the new tekken and PES6 look very good.

Also if you you go to www.yourpsp.com you can download game demos.

can i download them to the PSP if i use the PSP browser? not got it yes so just wondered if anyone has any good tricks for it

  9. Said it and much worse many times when playing agin t'gobbiners from t'immanuel.

btw dan you may be able to solve a long standing mystery here. What exactly does the phrase "OO said as OO were agate with OO" actually refer to in your neck of the woods?

My god what is that supposed to mean????!!!!! If im reading it as you've wrote and trying to say it in my head it means you were doing something with someone, or discussing it.... or so I think. Can honest say not really used that sentence but if ive used the word 'agate' it means someone else in the equation
