Edit: For what it's worth, I'll offer my M use (hasn't that filter gone past it's comedy sell-by-date now?) vs. Oasis opinion. Oasis are very good at what they do...they make catchy pop-rock tunes that you can hum along to in the car or ###### at the pub with your mates. Musically, however, they are niether inventive or gifted. I'm not a huge M use fan but they're undoubtedly the better musicians of the two. I just wish they'd change the formula, it's getting a bit tiresome now.

I still cant ADSL in my area, so I'm lumbered with AOL or ntl. At the moment, I've got a 612k ntl cable connection, which is absolute useless, because I was downloading OpenOffice via BitTorrent at a staggering... 7kb/s. AOl are just as bad though. My neighbour uses them.

Doubt its a connection problem, more a seeding issue or you need to mess with bit torrent

Absolutley. Pop bands like The Who and The Kinks who started adding aggression to their rhythm instruments (and stopped using just to hold everything in place) went a long way to influencing the sort of bands I listen to.

Yeah, Dunnie was quite the man when at Ewood. He has still came down on several occasions since and watched Rovers instead of playing for Brum when they were in a do or die battle at the end of the season. Again like Jan i've met the lad on several occasions and he hasn't changed a bit. The 1st time was when he scored the magnificent solo goal for England U21's and the last time was only 2 months.

He can take a fair amount of stick and will always chat to the fans. In fairness he doesn't hang about with his class-mates but why would he want to? As Jan said they were probably a bunch of bums and under-achievers and he's a multi-millionaire. I would pay to watch him back at Blackburn. A skillful midfielder who had a great work-rate (would do anything for teh team) and linked the midfield with the forwards extremely well. I'm not from Blackburn and its's immediate surrounding towns/villages, but i think it's fantastic on how well he's done in his career to date (not including his injuries)

How can you be so sure? Lots of Burnley fans have started watching stanley and in fact there is a small alliance of Burnley/Leeds/Accy hooligans, all from accy, who watch stanley regularly and this will be right up their street. I can't remember who accy played last season but one match in particular was very rough especially around the pubs on whalley road, and also stanley fans were involved in trouble away at york.

I'm not saying anyone has any reason to be scared or trying to put any one off but I think it's a bit naive to suggest that this doesn't have the potential for trouble. The good thing is its on a wednesday night so most of the young burnley idiots will have school in the morning!!!
