People are pathetic. He dived. So what? If he dived and got a pen in the WC final and we won it 1-0 he'd be the biggest legend off all time and people wouldn't say a thing about it. I seem to remember Mickey Owen diving for a penalty when we beat the Argies 1-0 at the last world cup. Don't seem to remember much critisim from that one. Finally a point of the laws of the game. The ref can give a penalty even without any contact. If he would deem the actions of the deffender to be worthy of a direct free kick anywhere else on the pitch (serious foul play for a two footed challenge) then if it's commited inside the penalty area it is a penalty regardless of if he touched him or not. Get of your high horses. Rant ends.

Some guy from Man Utd Supporters Association was on 5Live this morning saying that he's seen the ticket allocations the clubs have asked for and that for our game the FA has been asked for 45-50,000 tickets when both clubs requests are put together. Also on 5Live this morning it said that details of our match won't be announced for a little while as there is a possibility that it will be moved to another ground.

I wanted it at home. There's no way everyone that will want a ticket will be able to get one. I'm well pleased but I'll never get a ticket as I'm ashamed to say my presence at Rovers this season has been distinctly poor.

Reports in the Daily Mail this morning say that Chelski will offer Liverpool Damien Duff, Scott Parker and £20m in exchange for Steven Gerrard. Sounds like a great deal to me. I'd hate to see Duffer in the Red of Liverpool though.
