  1. Happy now! Is that the only reason you wanted him out? So you could show us a stupid graphic?
  2. Wow! Who's McEverly? Don't remember anyone with that name going to Burnley. On the same topic, didn't Jay McEveley goto burnley on loan
  3. Jan, do you hold a personal vendetta against Souness? Are you sure that it's his management of th eclub that bothers you.
  4. I'm interested in what some of these people's reaction would of been if he had won. We were 2-1 up! a bit tighter defending until the end and we would of been laughing! (Barr bad refereeing decisions). Who says we can't build on this.
  5. Try the reserves. If he can't hack it in the reserves how can he come close to the Premiership. You can See him for yourself in Morecambe.
  6. are there any odds avaliable on him scoring a hat-trick!
  7. Yup, its on Fulham's Official website, I wonder when it will be on ours www.fulhamfc.com
  8. I was actually at the time relating to SG's Post referring to Souness' apology! I don't want to get into an argument with anyone about it, so theres no point me saying anymore on this topic.
  9. Roversactive - given the gravity of the horror of Hillsborough, a comment like that is nothing short of pathetic. I'm not talking about the disaster, the Sun did was not the cause of the disaster, but made allegations afterwards and have apologized for them. I didn't say that an apology should make everything better but it shows that the Sun has shown a lot of regret for what happened in their newspaper yet a minority continue to act as if nothing has been said and that the Sun still show the ignorrance that they did at the time. Rooney should not take any blaime for talking to the sun, boycott the Sun by all means but don't hold a grudge against a Young Wayne Rooney for it.
  10. A sincere apology means nothing to a Liverpool fan.
  11. This is getting worse, why are you all posting extracts from books and websites, I've read all of these before. You obviously came on here because you wanted our opinions, and you don't think that we should give them - infact I feel that you are telling us what is right. The day will never be forgotten but again, let thoose who fell RIP, they deserve that if nothing else. Hold a grudge against the sun forevermore, I don't have a problem with that - its just that every 6 months you have to come and tell us all about it again! I know what happened and as a football fan that day will never be forgotten, I understand how bad it really was but there is a time surely when these should be just memories rather then a vendetta against anyone. I'm sure that if any football fan could change anything in history it would be this event but its impossible to do so. I really am taking an even bigger dislike to the fans of Liverpool Football Club. not just because of this, but everything - how I always have to skip through essay's of the Kop, anti Souness and Hillsbrough Threads. If I wanted to talk about these topics seriously or in depth I would honestly visit one of your many websites. These are some of them... www.brfcs.biz/mb/index.php?showtopic=7926 www.brfcs.biz/mb/index.php?showtopic=8341
  12. Still it hasn't been answered, what do Liverpool fans ultimatley want to happen. I'm too Young to remember the day but know enough about what happened and don't get me wrong, it was a true footballing disaster but theres a time when you must move on and 'the sun' can see this and move on with the event carved firmly into their name. Lets remember what happened but why bother holding grudges now, just let thoose who fell R.I.P, surely they deserve that! Some of the topics I've seen on this board include essay's about 'The Kop', How great Liverpool Are, 'The Sun' and how much they dislike Souness. Together it is quite a collection of Liverpool fans writing longer essay's then i've ever submitted for an English exam. I think that this thread, may I point out on a Blackburn Rovers Forum shows how much too many of our friends are living in the past. If I went onto the Liverpool website writing how brilliant Souness and Rovers are in 5,000 words, you can be sure that they will tell me where I can go! Jim, RevridgeBlue, Colin and Tris have together said everything else that I think needs saying on the matter of the topic title.
  13. Watching football on TV is no subsitute for being at the ground, we all know that, I can't see this move having a big effect on ticket sales. Two Words, Scotish Football and TV Coverage. It didn't help them!
  14. Brilliant news for our season Ticket sales
  15. Liverpool 0-2 France what happened to the liverpool team that beat Germany 5-1 (sarc!) Owen contributed Little to none Heskey didn't need to foul in that area - clumsy Gerrard, what was he thinking! Volleying it back to the keeper, why not boot it into row ZZZ or further up the pitch?
  16. I have had an e-mail from Danny (the Steward). He is interested in comming upto Blackburn to watch spurs here next season and said that he wouldn't mind meeting up with some of us. . He was gobsmacked that his letter was put on the official website, andyway - I gave him the address of this site, he may come along.
  17. Oh Well, MOTD is back next season isn't it. Some of those words that he used sums up ITV Football as a whole.
  18. Personally, i think its more important that we worry about staying up, and so getting behind the team right now rather then worrying about the man in charge - as i said in my post, at such a late stage who do they expect to save us? We can't really apoint anoyone and i couldnt see Parkes or Saunders saving us!
  19. Shut yer Mouth's and get behind Souness and the lads in what we have left - we don't have much else to look at unless you think Parkes or the very dodgy sounding Saunders could keep us up!! We ain't gonna survive unless we get supporting the team - we don't wanna be divided over this! What was said about Pompey? If we won it we would be in a healthy position from the relegation zone - but we didn't, and we aren't so we gonna have to get on with it. If we just keep talking about trying to survive and moaning about the management you will find that in the end we will just run out of matches! FAO Local Rovers (and from Far who can make it) you can find the ticket details for the upcomming rovers matches Here For my own saftey i would like to ensure that Rover6 and Jim are both fitted with Muzzle's. Up the Rovers... anyway... Ferguson could be back for Leeds and hopefully Reid wold of made a full recovery. Hopefully Reid will be very creative for us - our problem is that times we have relyed on Emerton far to much!
  20. Who allowed Rover6 to vote 11 times - thats unfair
  21. obviously he wants a special execption, a certain Mr Neill ring any bells Hou? Did he ever consider that Pongy probably did dive?
  22. I've yet to hear a proper song for Dwight Yorke, he's had a little bit of "always look on the Dwight side of life" but never really catched on. how about this to the tune of "Beatles - Hey Jude".... nah nah nah nah-nah-nah-nah nah-nah-nah-nah Dwight Yorke nah nah nah nah-nah-nah-nah nah-nah-nah-nah Dwight Yorke © me
