    <font color='#0000FF'>Anyone bought Franz Ferdinand`s album?

I bought it yesterday, and I can tell that it will be on my cd player for a long time.

'Take me out' is the best song I've heard for a while - the rest of the album's pretty good as well.

Has anyone got the new album by The Stands - 'All Years Leaving' ??

Got it a couple of weeks ago and can't stop listening to it

Have heard a couple of tracks and do think that they are pretty good. I first heard about them from the God Gallagher and therefore gave them a listen. The album will be purchased in the near future me thinks.

My album of the moment is JET - Get Born. This is quality stuff and for those of you who agree with my musical ramblings will LOVE this thumbs-up.gif

    Cocker:

When you start playing I would advise you not to go and buy loads of players until you know what you're doing.   Otherwise you'll buy a load of mugs who may look good but are pretty useless.

Cheers.  Will try and get it going over Christmas (If I can sneak off from the festivities for 5 mins)

Something I dont get though!!  If I start playing now, are you lot that already play not going to wipe the floor with me?  Would it not be like sticking a Sunday league team in the Prem?

Dont laugh but who are these people and what music to they play.  I would imagine from your other posts that they play loud bang your head against the wall type of stuff - no offence intended

Tris - I never wrote anything beforehand..because I don't know anything about Rugby.

Yep know exactly how that feels.  Went down the local to watch it and all the Rugby team were in there.  After being amongst all that I will never jump down the throught of the next guy that comes in to watch the footy and says "whats offside all about then" because I knew on Saturday exactly how they would feel.

Also, after the rugby had finished I was stupid enough to stand on a chair and advise the rugby team that I was turning the Rugby off and putting Blackburn on.  This went down like a sack of spuds and so did I.

    Got the footy on though

Being drunk and falling asleep at a radiohead concert is probably a blessing in disguise.

In other music news, Busted have complained that being labelled a boy band is offensive.   Much like their music.

God, isn't that right. They are shee-ite, and pretentious shee-ite at that.

Its good job your not going to see them then isnt it! As your not theres no need to get so upset about them is there.

I'm hardly getting 'upset' about it.

Cocker, that was the first thing that I noticed about Busted; no wires, no amps...no drums.

It gets better.  They actually sang live (apart from playing the guitars) on SMTV at the weekend and there voices have started to break - it really doesn't help a hang over

Whats this "Rugby" thing all about then?

T4E:  If you think about it like this.  The cavemen used to try and drive cars with sqaure wheels until a rew of them broke away with round ones.  Well the same thing applies with the rugby, Everyone used to play it until someone had the idea to make the ball round and kick it instead of carry it.  Jonny Wilkinson is a prime example of someone that wants to play football and is a bit behind the times

As for Busted, they are f**king hilarious.

Busted have also said that they are a band!!  Do these boys not realise that most bands plug there guitars in and actually play them

    You can't be serious!!

Although I agree that Rugby is no where near as good as football.. its great to watch, for christs sake its a world cup and one that England have a realistic chance of winning!

Easy now.  Its just our opinion

  9. Everyone should just stop worrying.  It will be more satisfying to storm up the league the second part of the season with people saying "where did they come from"

Always look on the brightside of life - Sorry, I don't know how to write the whistle bit  :D

Dave Matthews, i'm guessing at least 95% of you are going Who?. He's a South African singer who fronts the Dave Matthews Band, he just released a solo album called Some Devil, it's fantastic.

I'd reccomend it to Colin, seen as he likes Nick Cave.

The Space between is a class song

Anyone see the video for the White Stripes' " I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself?" All the male board members should love it!!!!

Kate Moss seems to like it a little too

Anyone heard the new B.R.M.C Album - quality

  12. This is mine from the online Telegraph one (you may see that there are no Rovers players.  This is because when I pick them they either get injured or play rubbish and that's why i'm doing it for the good of the team rather than myself)

  13. Is it me or is anyone else getting a little sick of hearing about the darkness?  I think these guys have got to be the most over-rated band since Coldplay (that in its self will upset some of you)

Just because they wear tights does not give them a new edge - Freddie Mercuary did that long before (damm right Queen still rock) And I don't get why the lead singer thinks that screeming sounds good.

Anyway, what do the rest of you think?

has anyone got the new blur album, and if so is it any good?? an album ive heard VERY little about, but i think blur are a good band.

if the new albums out btw.

Whilst out of time is a classic Blur song, the rest of the album disapoints and has fallen foul at the hands of Norman Bloody Cook (who produced afew songs) and misses the inspiration of Graham Coxon.

Agreed, I always followed Oasis rather than Blur however I have given them a chance and you can easily see that they miss Coxon (although Geri leaving the spice girls was much worse  :D )

I've a good idea of what is being played down at Brockhall (Allegedly)

Gillespie- Go your own way (Fleetwood Mac)

    Duffers-1 Irish Rover (Van Morrison)

    Friedel- American Dream (Neil Young)

Flitty- I fought the law and the law won (Clash)

And maybe in a year's time this is what i reckon Dunny will be singing :   Stupid Mistake (Gareth Gates)

How about:  OSTENSTAD (the eggman) & GRABBI (the walrus) - I am the Walrus (the beatles)
