  1. Cheers you've clarified a few points there. Carry on ranting. I wonder if heads in the major levels of the government and its agencies will roll as a result of the long delays in getting help to the affected. Knowing the way the Bush administration seems to get away with things maybe not. BTW glad to see you have the courage to post as Glenn and not via an alias anymore
  2. Oh stop ranting Glenn. Admin should stay out of political issues and not pick and choose which ones they want to intervene in a debate about
  3. Aye fair point speeeeeeedie though it's still interesting many animals in the tsunami areas escaped unharmed. And now I can't get this vision out of my head of all these pet animals queing up at hotel reception desks looking for a room
  4. Probably very few given the reports of how animals seemed to "use their sixth sense" in the prelude to the tsunami. Here's an example from Sri Lanka http://www.lankalibrary.com/news/animals.htm
  5. What was wrong with Chris Tremlett? Being the twelth man surely he should have been the substitute fielder. Expect the loophole being expoited by England to be closed by the ICC.
  6. Don't let the oaf worry you Neekoy. In fact it's best to ignore him because soon enough matron will give him some valium. Remember this is the chap who thinks this is the worst Australian touring team ever. What he fails to acknowledge is that this is a vastly improved England team. What he also fails to acknowledge is that the ECB turned to the leading Test nation a few years ago and hired Rodney Marsh. Saddened by the state of English cricket and at a time when there were calls to reduce the number of games in a series vs England,Marsh took up the challenge. Marsh helped set up and ran the national academy and until recently was a Test selector. But what does the ECB know? It's not the highest level of cricket after all. The highest level is some crony old hack and his ilk who, when England start losing a few Tests, will stick the knife in and deride the players and management. Anyway here endeth the lesson.Roll on Thursday and the last game in an enthralling series.
  7. I don't think I'll bother commenting in case it's construed as a cheap political shot (whatever that may be).
  8. AESF please come back. This board is a shadow of itself without you. Look what we have to put up up with instead....wazzock of the rovers I think we've been highjacked by the official forum type members:( And if there's a poll on this I blame Lee and his Admin friends
  9. If you are going to put your signature in capitals could you spell the words correctly? Or am I missing something?
  10. How did that old chant go? He's only a poor little cockney. He started to sing. I hit him with a brick and now he won't sing anymore. Substitute cockney with you know who... By the way I pay my cleaner more than 5.75 a hour:)
  11. Aye a floppy master baiter
  12. Sad behaviour by a moderator encouraging these two
  13. Sheffield Shield now being the Pura Cup. Has Symonds got the bottle?I don't know. He reminds me of Graeme Hick...a good county player but not good enough at the Test level.
  14. Australia to win the Oval Test and retain the Ashes.
  15. You might lose
  16. Who accepts registrations to this site? We seem to have been infested by "I'm reet hard but when the going gets tough I run away" and his "teenage mates think I'm a god type" characters. Ah well such is society today. A right royal clip round the ear and a kick up the arse was the best to treat such types in my youth
  17. Modes I feel the 12th man should be the sub fielder rather than the best fielder from the local league. Doesn't seem right that you can pluck whoever you want and send him on when a bowler wants a rest.
  18. Katich out. Another shocking umpiring decision and Flintoff off for a rest. Time they tightened up the substitution rules.
  19. Gilchrist lbw to Hoggard for 11.
  20. Ah the 16 year old ######.head is back at his keyboard. Take a little while to do a spell and grammar check before you hit the send button.
  21. Clarke caught behind off Hoggard.
  22. I think there may be a few more twists in this Test. Would be interesting to see how England chase a total of 200 plus in their fourth innings.
  23. We can still type when we are pisse.d
  24. I just don't believe it Surely England will force the follow on more so from a psychological point of view.
  25. No I just appreciate good play Where's Jim by the way??
