Before their second I felt Armstrong wimped out of chasing the ball with the keeper, he should have carried on and knocked it past the him instead of pulling up and letting the keeper take it. 2 minutes later they equalise.
And Lenihan needs a word, that's three penalties conceded in his last three games. I don't know what he was thinking, a blatant shirt pull today, terrible. I like Lenihan but he needs an organiser playing alongside him at this stage, Downing certainly isn't that.
After some of the yellow bellied performances in the last 8 years or so, it's really enjoyable to watch this team though.

Not true according to the Forest journo and Sharpe. The deal is done and neither party can go back on it.
Don't know how that quote was attributed to me but hey ho!

I assume we are paying Breretons wages whilst he's on loan and we've agreed a future fee of 6m with Forest and personal terms with the lad. I don't think the fee has been paid, its just an option. Either Rovers or Brereton can cancel if it doesn't work out.
I think TM is looking for him to learn from DG and become his long term replacement.
Agree that it would seem more logical to play up top though he may get more game time if he can learn to play wide in 4-2-3-1
The permanent transfer of Brereton is pretty much set in stone according to various sources. It will most likely be something silly like if he makes 3 league appearances then the permanent transfer will go through. Possibly if he suffers a serious long term injury it might be able to be cancelled though I don't know.

The Freemasons is excellent, as is the White Swan at Fence and the Red Pump at Bashall Eaves is good too. The Parkers Arms at Newton has a great reputation, although I've not been.
In Preston Fino has recently opened and is an outstanding tapas place.
Seconded with regards to The White Swan.

I'd steer clear of the Butlers for a little while, it's most recent food hygiene rating was 1.

Kudos to the person that created the MOM poll, that Harrison is some player.
Think that could have something to do with the commentator repeatedly calling him Harrison instead of Reed.
And it's his bloody job to know about players!

Local businesses sponsoring the club can only be a good thing though.

Is that true? A lost ST replacement card cost a tenner?
Yes it's true, it cost me a tenner last season when I misplaced (lost) it during a house move. Granted that's my own fault though.
And of course it turned up a couple of weeks later.

He needs to drastically improve his crossing. It's crucial for a modern day , Premier league full back. He has the rest in his locker and is still very young.
I would say he has more going for him than the Ollsson twins did at his age. Their major USP was being left footed. Nyambe is just as quick and good on the ball, but is fair stronger. The Ollssons were better crossers though
Though I agree with the final sentence, they were still pretty poor crossers, Martin in particular was dreadful (no idea if he still is or not). Marcus' crossing certainly improved during his time here at least.

Honestly pal. In 26 years of watching rovers at all levels I can't remember a player so out of his depth. He will never wear a Rovers shirt again because he is not good enough.
Edinho Junior says hello.
Though I don't disagree with your last sentence.

Someone not giving a thumbs up to Shabby. Seems an honest bloke with a fair old couple of sleeves who has kicked on since Shebby deemed him surplus.
Thanks for the link, didn't know about this website and looking forward to reading some of the articles on there.

I’ve not even heard if my direct debit has been set up (or even accepted ?) yet...
I made a direct debit payment on 5th July, had to check myself after reading your post, didn't even realise!
I tend to put off checking my account, for fear of crying.

Pogba sure. But in all honesty i dont think anyone outside kante is a huge step down. Matuidi is a water-carrier, ali has far better stats in the premier league in the last couple of seasons compared to pogba. If it was an england france final then you would say that france would be 70-30 on but bigger shocks have happened
Matuidi is a great player, more than just a water carrier and would still get in the England team even if he was.

Agreed, suppose its an understandable lack of knowledge of the general market making it easier to suggest players people already know but I dont understand it either.
Seen suggestions of getting Mahoney back, getting Gallagher back, last year it was Emnes and Akpan, none of whom are anywhere near good enough. That or players like Rhodes and Gestede who we cant afford.
Akpan???!!! That's up there as one of the stupidest things I've ever heard!

Only time I have seen him was at Ewood last season, looks a neat and tidy player with the ball, put his foot in though seemed to go missing as we took the game to them.

Still young though to cgangebhis ways and even his diet
If I didn't already know who Tony Watt was I reckon I would have a right good chance of guessing his nationality Dryhorse!

For me this season he has been coached by Guardiola to be in the right positions at the right times, ie within 8-10 yards of goal. Pep knows he can coach a team to put the ball in these areas on a regular basis, and Sterling has benefited from it massively.
It's a wise choice all things considered as he's not the best passer, crosser or dribbler yet has the pace and agility to get into these positions so the technically better players can find him.

Has anyone played this? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Resident-Evil-Biohazard-PS4-PSVR/dp/B01GVN0CQ6/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1524048815&sr=1-1&keywords=resident+evil
If so, is it any good? I'm looking for a new game to get stuck into and I've got a PS4, so any recommendations would be welcome! (I like pretty much all games).

Bit late to the party with this one but recently started playing The Witcher 3, really enjoying it so far. Huge open world, many enemies, gear and quests. The work that has gone into this game is stellar, with the amount of lore etc. A truly great RPG. Picked it up in the Black Friday sale for £12, Game of the Year edition, absolute bargain.

I can't quite remember where I heard it, it may even have been on here, but I once heard them referred to as 'a classless club with classless fans'. It stuck with me anyway.
