    You just did!!!

I suppose you're defence is that it's a nice post but you have done exactly the same.

What? It's his current profile. Not a tweet from almost 7 years ago. Whats your point exactly?

Yes. 'The mob' probably hacked his account too.

Footballers being thick is hardly news but there's no need to get so defensive.

Wait and see. This will be used as a stick if he has a bad game. Do you not know how it works with some rovers fans?

It seems so silly to me that a fan would go and dig that tweet up and then go sharing. What's the point?

How was he even being "thick"? He just gave his opinion. His twitter profile now says that he is a proud footballer of Blackburn rovers. Maybe fans should share that

    Poor signing.

As a defensive midfielder, he was as good as anyone in League One and a match for many in the second tier. He could read a game, anticipate problems, stop the threats. If there was opposition danger, he would be somewhere near it, doing his best to snuff it out.

Loving the new Fargo, David Thewlis is superb as the new Malvo.

You are still in the golden era of TWD there K-Hod. A very long decline awaits you...

I got lost in season 6. The episodes were so similar that I couldn't remember where I was in the season, so I just gave up. Earlier seasons were deadly.

  5. “I’m really pleased to be here,” he added. “I was at Cardiff for a long time, but I felt like I needed this. I just wanted a fresh challenge and I feel like this is perfect for me. I’m excited.

“Just being around the training ground, you see what a huge club it is. It's an amazing club and it definitely shouldn't be in League One, so it’s up to us and everyone to get us out of here and get us back in the Championship.

“It could be exciting – being in and around the top six, and hopefully the top two. I just want to enjoy my football and hopefully enjoy the results.”

You said his fitness depends on how hard he works, but we are talking about age and some players just have to bow out sooner than others.

Yes I did say that. Fitness does depend on how hard someone works, no? At his age he may need to be prepared to do a bit extra. Mcallister said in an interview he was training when others weren't. At 32/33, I am sure Whittingham will be fine in League 1

He looks in good condition - fitness wise ;) - in the pics I've seen. If he needs a runner use or get one, which reminds me of someone leaving.

    Shoot the runner!

Could have been the dream league 1 midfield. Jesus even Akpan. Maybe Tomlinson can do similar.

It makes me wonder where Evans will fit in. I would like him to stay, he would be a very good League 1 player, if he stays fit. I think his injury record may actually scare clubs off.

Tbf id give him first ten games and tell him he needs to win 8 of those. He shouldn't be as comfortable as he is though.

talks of a new contract is absurd maybe if we look ok at April next year but not now.

What if he won 7 and drew 3? We could be top of the league. You can't be that rigid. Where we are in the table and performances need to come into it too.

Agree it's too early to discuss extensions. Time enough end of the season or Christmas if we are doing well. Although imagine we win the championship and he gets offered a job elsewhere, we all know what people will be saying on here. Why did venkys let his contract run down etc etc

I'm for some reason not a fan of Keith hill, he's done a great job at both spells of Rochdale his ability to spot players is second to none but just i am not sure why I'm not a fan of him. He'd certainly be considered though. Uwe Rosler has done very well this year, had a bad spell at Wigan but decent at Brentford and Leeds.

one person id have loved last year is Chris wilder but he will never leave sufc.

Fair enough, some good suggestions. Personally though,  I would see Mowbray as a safer pair of hands than any of them, plus he has had 3 months already to assess our squad, which is invaluable.

I admire your optimism, I think we will scrape play offs and get beat personally. Wigan for the title.

mowbray took over and I know the points per game ratio would see us safe usually and the teams around improved ten fold but let's not blind ourselves of the fact he did take us down. Inherited the job 22nd and finished 22nd. Lovely footballing bloke but I don't think he's the saviour some people hope him to be personally.

Who would you like to see manage us currently so?

Lots on here adore a good moan, but offer very little in the way of constructive alternatives.
