  1. It was his knee but looks more an impact one so hopefully not too serious. Walked off so that's a plus.
  2. That good old Irish magic 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
  3. The 10m from his sale will be greatly welcomed. He's off to the premier league so we can't deny him that. Softens the blow.
  4. I'd say Garrett when Wharton was knackered and not having much of an influence to freshen things up. I suppose another question is how often has the manager made decisive substitution that have swung the game in our favour. It hasn't happen too often if ever that I can recall. It's the same gear and style no matter the opposition, score, game, competition which I think is quite frustrating.
  5. Yeah that's fair enough and reasonable. I don't need to direct my anger at anyone though, I know the owners and board have been shite. They screwed the manager but when it comes to matters on the pitch some of the decisions even with limited players seem quite avoidable in costing us games we shouldn't lose. I'm not conservative when it comes to football and like attacking football but we 15 mins to go last night I'd have taken a point and that's not said with hindsight.
  6. Luton were never expected to get out of the league was my point. They had experienced players but no world beaters. They worked hard and were extremely hard to beat.
  7. Have the wolves spurs game on and the commentators just said "Gary O' Neil adopts his team to the players he has available and the opposition they face" imagine that. I don't dislike the Tommasson but he really needs to adapt for certain games. We are not Man City where we just play our game and let them worry about us. We are far too open at crucial times of games and it costs us alot of points.
  8. The manager has a very difficult job but the love in and excuses for him on here are unbelievable. He is not completely blameless as some like to make out. We know the owners are shite but let's be real and stop living in denial. The manager still has alot to learn. The evidence is right in front of you. Teams get out of this division all the time being well drilled, hard working and grafting their balls off even with limited resources. See Luton last year.
  9. He definitely has talent as a coach but needs to work on his in game management and his ability to tweak his system to change a game. He got shafted by the club I have to agree there and yeah if he had 3/4 more players it would probably be a different story. Just a frustrating situation all round. I can be critical of some thing but to be fair he's done a decent job given the circumstances.
  10. Not a boardroom issue on this occasion, purely talking about tactics and style of play. It's like not looking out the window before you leave the house and deciding to wear shorts and t-shirt no matter what the forecast is. Could be fine in July but doing the same in December ain't going to end well. It's just illogical to me.
  11. He treats every game the same and that's not to be applauded. There is a reason why we have such an erratic record. We will beat the teams who also like to try pass and play and lose to the teams who have a bit of nastiness in them and get stuck in and show physicality and fight. Not changing tactics and adjusting to your opponent is truly staggering. We even tried it at Chelsea and would no doubt do it at City or Madrid. Give me the Souness, Big Sam and Hughes style approach all day. Felt like we were in with a chance against any opposition no matter how strong they were. Seem to turn them over on the regular and give all them all they could handle.
  12. Didn't deserve to lose but somehow found a way. All too familiar. Good night lads.
  13. You stick with the short corners Jon. You know best, don't mind what anyone says. Ridiculous.
  14. Made in Ireland 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
  15. Absolutely do not deserve to be, criminal attempt at a cross from A.Wharton when we were in a great position and it leads to getting hit on the break. Our set pieces not only don't provide us with opportunities to score they are now dangerous for us to conceed.
  16. What? Went through his hands. I'm allowed to expect better thanks.
  17. I wouldn't have Leo🤣🤣🤣 think we can just enjoy the win my good man.
