  1. You can't lose 6 points for one loss. Leo is averaging 3 a game at the moment. So I would still argue he can't do any worse.
  2. Hilton can't do any worse than Wahlstedt, he can do the same but no worse. Leo needs to be dropped end of story. You can't produce those type of performances weekly and cost your club game after game with zero ramifications. Once or twice and you stick with him, now it's bordering the ridiculous. Throw anyone else in, he won't, but I would 100% back it if he did.
  3. Some people would have you believe that's down to the owners ...simple not true and I hate them as much as most others. All on the manager.
  4. Seems those who make up their mind on a player or manager struggle to accept it admit it when issues arise. You need to massage their fragile egos a bit to try get the concerns across. The mantra is "JDT is doing a great job" and that's the end of it. We know the owners are shit, we know the budget is shit and he got shafted with that. I don't think we have to convince ourselves we are lucky to have this manager because we fear what comes next. Every person at the club should have their performance critiqued. Tomasson is a decent coach but he is way too stubborn and NAIVE so we continue to plod along. To summarise, we need better owners and a better manager. You don't have to be in one camp or the other.
  5. Keep reading how we are playing the best stuff we have for years and how much people are enjoying the current style of play, not sure about what is currently classed as enjoyable but I certainly don't enjoy: Conceeding soft goals from keeper errors every week Full backs getting skint alive regularly Centre halves looking beyond uncomfortable trying to play it out from the back Conceeding possession in dangerous areas multiple times a game Getting bullied by any team with a big of steal about it Passing for the sake of passing whilst going nowhere Hesitation to shoot when in very good situations in and around the box Little or no threat from set pieces An abysmal record when conceeding first No plan B Managers substitutions leading to multiple dropped points and/or defeats Conceeding the most amount of goals in the last 15 mins of games The inability to close up shop and put games to bed. It's isn't brave football it's stupid. Wide open til the 95th minute. Losing every game when there is any sort of pressure riding on it, derby games and playoff places mainly, cup game Vs Sheff U a classic example. As someone said earlier, enjoyable football is winning football. Not sure why this current manager is getting protected so much, regardless of the current owners etc(we all know they are shite) but some of this managers traits and shortcomings are damning. Very frustrating. Count me firmly in the "not enjoying this football" category.
  6. For the record I didn't mean literally making changes as in substitutions but that is part of the problem. I meant making changes to the tactics or system mid game. I often think during our games after 20 mins or so "there right back is slow, should get at him more" or "there keeper is dodgy, fling a few crosses in or take a few shots and test him" then I just watch minute after minute of Hyam and Carter pass it back and forth and slow ponderous build up play to little affect. Go 1-0 down and I think ok let's change it up a bit...nope. Rinse and repeat. He doesn't seem to have any ability to change a game, like zero. Another one for people to try and defend but I don't buy this "players are exhausted" stuff either, it's December not February or March. The only player I see run himself into the ground is Sammie Szmodics. The rest are in cruise control playing tippy tappy stuff and not tracking runners or scrapping tooth and nail.
  7. Quoting me clearly. He's not up to it. When the going gets tough, we fold. Clear to see. He cannot change a game, doesn't have the nous, look at our record when we go behind. Horrendous.
  8. Our manager is not up to it, doing a brilliant job?? Yeah right, we are as fragile as it gets even when we win. He picks a team and hopes for the best and wishes the opposition allow us to play. He can't change a game, sets us up to get hammered time and time again, offers little to no explanation after no show performances and takes zero responsibility. Wake up and stop living in denial. Yes there is bigger problems at Ewood but I have had my fill of this manager and his "philosophy". At what point do you replace a keeper who is making howler after howler game in and game out, throw in our 3rd choice and show some balls. Wahlstedt needs to be taken out regardless of Pears injury. The way the team is set up isn't workin, that's on the manager, more fight in players with far lesser ability than our lads. Stop making excuses for the players and manager, Huddersfield did not have a better starting 11 than us today. We are softer than baby shit. Embarrassing.
  9. Fuck off Leo, fucking useless. Has the balls then to throw his hands up like it was someone's else fault. Can't keep anything out. Fucking shit.
  10. What I am saying is actually in defence of Leonard, it's not his fault he is featuring as much, would do well on loan lower down the league and could be the making of him. Haven't given up on him yet. I was one of those judging Ennis before he kicked a ball, I was right, he was never going to be good enough at this level and was happy to put my neck on the line with that even though it seems to massively offend people when you don't back every signing to the hilt and then only praise them once they are here.
  11. I like Leonard and he seems like he has a future but it's ok to say he isn't up to it right now, that's not his fault as we are forced to fill a squad. Why do people take such issue with people criticising players though? If you are from the academy or a record signing, shouldnt your performance just be assessed on how to perform? I just imagine them all nameless and faceless and judge them all on how they play over a period of time.
  12. Imagine thinking people unhappy with error after error from a professional keeper that has cost us roughly 8-10 goals as a result of doing basic things regardless of age is somehow a negative thing. People think it's nobel to act like they are the some kind of good person to point the blame elsewhere. Give your head a wobble, our keeper is a dud, there is no grey area with this one. I have zero faith in him. We are talking about a keeper that has cost us two goals today in a 2-1 defeat. He's conceded soft goal after soft goal, he's also got away with other errors that didn't result in goals. Useless.
  13. Losses at different times are down to different reasons. The bench and options available can be blamed sometimes but the loss today is down to the keeper. He can't do his job, always looks suspect. Can't believe we paid a few for him.
  14. Countless errors from that clown in goals. Truly awful.
  15. Another error from that useless keeper. Absolutely pathetic. Get Pears back in ASAP!
  16. Adam Wharton playing very well. Needs to keep that up. Tronstad been solid too.
  17. This says it all about the state of the club, very poor player with massive limitations, nothing personal but not good enough.
  18. Couldn't agree more. Think the tough and physical lads are dying out of the game and the ones that are left are probably out of our budget, used to be the luxury ones now it's the enforcers who are the rare commodity.
  19. Agree, and don't think it's a case of revisionist history either. Keepers of today are of a very poor standard, I have been calling for more shots from our lads for that very reason. Test the keeper, look at Hill the other night, they have massive errors in them and it's always worth the gamble, if it doesn't go in you always have another chance they could spill it and you can get the rebound. Wahlstedt has been very poor imo, I'd have Pears back in soon as he it fit and we all know he has his faults.
