Prior to Deepdale we'd lost 6 on the trot away from home.

There's a lot of romanticising JDT's style of play going on here, we'd have lost that 3-0 a couple of months ago.

Let's become hard to beat, and build from there, it's what Hughes did, and he did alright in the end. I know it's hard to watch, but what do people want? Follow it up with a win at home, and isn't this what "normal" sides do?

Eustace is not making these lads suddenly unable to pass a ball 5 yards is he?

This squad is an absolute mess, a proper rag tag bunch, good to luck to anyone coming in trying to fashion a side out of this lot - I'll take a point away on a Tuesday night with a clean sheet any day.

Brilliant post and summed up perfectly.

We lose that under JDT, it became so predictable.

It's the semblance of a gameplan that's lacking. I don't know what this is. This isn't scrippy scrappy, it's just shit.

The lack of discipline with basic passing and movement is shocking, and that goes for players like SS too. It's that that's gone over a cliff.

Fair enough it's a rough watch but I don't like the idea just yet that it's Eustace's fault. Let's give him a fair shake.

And to think some people berated tippy tappy football

I find this less frustrating being honest. All well and good when you have the players but when you don't there is nothing worse than watching a bunch of players with limited ability struggle with every single pass and look so uncomfortable trying to knock it about. I'll take a scrippy scrappy over tippy tappy.

BigBar, you and I generally see things about football similarly, but you can’t be blaming a manager you were slating to high heaven while he was here, when he’s been sacked. When does it stop being his fault?

I didn't slate him to high heavens, I was fair, I just wasn't a fan. What did I say that was so bad? He is naive? Let me be clear, Waggot, Suhail and Venkys are the fucking problem.

My point is people saying how bad this is like it's Eustace's influence and we've fallen off a cliff since JDT left. Let's not have short memories. I want to give Eustace a fair crack, I think that's fair.

I've never seen JDT's team play as badly as this.

I could frame it that anything good that JDT instilled into the team, went with him. And all of the failings while he was here can be put down to some terrible footballers and the awful bunch that assembled them.

He had us on a rotten run of form for months. Was it something like 1 win in 10? It's a poor bunch alright but he never managed to stop the rot. Terrible combination.

Is there any gameplan at all?

I get that some thought that JDT was too attack minded, but this is just terrible. W

e're still badly playing it out from the back on occasion.

    The passing is worse.

The attacking, from players that we've seen attack well, is none existent.

The defending is just as shambolic.

We're still playing suicide balls across field for it to be intercepted, but we're playing an opponent who is really poor.

    What is this?

JDTs prints are all over this team. He's only been gone a wet week. The problems he created are still there.

    half glass full. fair enough

Can be a half empty type man too but given the circumstances I'll try and stay positive. Happy to see lads clearing their lines and keeper going long. Start with the basics after a horror run. There is a balance to be struck but can't do it all at once. But more composure up top is needed. Been very poor so far in the final third.

Anyone who actually believes this was a genuine administrative error is naive at best.

There should be a financial penalty or an embargo for clubs who fail to follow the correct procedures. It is a multi billion pounds business and there are brain-dead crooks at the top end of most football clubs destroying the game.

Never thought I'd say this but the players in this instance need protecting. Can really fuck up their careers and lives, that's not even being dramatic. Fucked O'Brien, fucked Brierley and now there is a young America lad sitting in the UK in limbo not knowing is he staying or going. All because we have c*unts destroying the football club we all adore.

    Disgraceful, truly and utterly disgraceful.
