Not a big fan of Tomasson but I have no issues with that team. Something different was needed so let's see.
Shows what he thinks of Wahlstedt when he is binned soon as Pears, who has his flaws is back. Hopefully no errors from the keeper today, that be a bonus.
Come on Rovers!

What a mess we are at the moment, truly depressiing. Clubs smell blood and we are being raided. Dack, BBD, Ayala, Travis Kaminski all out the door in the last year. Ennis, Telalovic, Tronstad Hill and Wahlstedt come in. Simply staggering.
Ennis being shipped out after being given a 4 year deal 6 months into it sums it all up. Shit show top to bottom. The drop off in quality even with cutbacks has been horrendous.
We are being stripped to the bare bones and then some. Owners and board are a shambles. C*unts.

Rothwell going Southampton on loan
Well that stings. Always thought he was top class. Would love him back here.

This is Leo's last start for Rovers.
You can be sure with this dysfunctional set up we currently have.

Super goal from Garrett. He's a good player. Like him.

Iv'e been biting my lip on this for a while but HYam has been absolute gash this season he is way overrated here on the back of a handful of good performances over a season and a half.
The thing you need from a centre half is consistency and organisation and he's never delivered either.
I rate him, put him in a decent side with a solid keeper and you have a top championship CB.

He will have a successful career no doubt but His methods aren't working for us. Seems too stubborn to change his ideas. How long should he get
He won't. He might do well at a massive club in Scandinavia or Scotland but he won't go on to a standard club and have them be very successful. Too meek and too stubborn.

Problem if the manager goes, could these players adapt to playing a different way?
They can't adapt to the current one.

Anyone calling for the manager out be careful because soon the pro Tomasson crew will appear and absolve him of all blame. Normally happens after full time.
Injuries, owners, the weather, conspiracy, referees, whatever the case we are lucky to have him apparently. He is fat too naive even getting dealt a poor hand you really want more and a smarter approach. Shit owners and a limited/naive manager aren't mutually exclusive. You can have both.

Jdt needs to go in the summer
Sooner I think. He's not up to this, getting dragged down the table and he wants to pass it out from the back and play pretty football. Clueless.

It does look like a lot of players have mentally checked out. They might be running around still, but it doesn't look like they're thinking, much less have any confidence, about what they're doing.
They are not arsed for the manager. He is out of his depth when the going gets tough, players and fans have copped it.

Hate that Hyam has been shite the last while.
-
Surely Gally and JRC have 45 in them otherwise pointless having them on the bench.

Long throw beating the Rovers tippy tappy stuff. What a shock.

He is not as bad, he is a poor keeper with an error in him.
This guy is not even a footballer. Whoever scouted him must have been just having a jolly sitting in their hotel.
If imagine whoever was involved in recruitment of this keeper must have massive reputational damage. Horrendous.

Good. Let him off. Going nowhere under him or these owners. Need someone to work a miracle and it won't be Tomasson.

Pears will in next game, 100%.
Rightly so. Sticking with him is suicide. Makes pears look like Ederson. Be nice to only have to deal with an error every few games rather than multiple ones every game.

I think he is the worst goalkeeper I have ever seen play professionally, all this bollox about giving him time... he is getting worse!
Genuinely agree. Can't think of a worse run and the variety of errors. Truly shocking. Looks like he has been plucked from an underage team. Baffling.
-
Pears, yes Pears is far superior to that excuse we have in goals right now. Every game, no exaggeration, every game he makes an error. Mostly a significant one. Dreadful signing.
