Just fuck off Wahlstedt. Anything on target and it's in the back of his net. Shite.

Need telalovic to get a goal today and see if it can kick-start his season.
I have lowered my expectations to accepting him just being a nuisance and a handful and creating chances and space for others. Goals be a bonus.

He's on fire Sammie. Love the guy.

Whats so bizarre is we just come out each week and play the same way but expect a different outcome.
Surely we should be setting up each week to not concede a cheap early goal...
Bonkers stuff. Really is.

I just rolled my eyes.
I wonder if Travis did anything.
Probably grinned that it was Wharton at the heart of it leading up to the goal

They have absolutely lost faith in JDT, this screams that they aren't playing for him.
Clear to see imo. Think alot have, I didn't flinch when they scored.

Leo is always an easy target but looked to me like poor defending by Hyam for the goal
Nothing the keeper could do Hyam and Pickering very poor.

My word, we're dreadful. JDT is destroying his reputation after being highly regarded last season.
Naive Jon

Body language looks awful. All is not rosey at Ewood.

Should have given Hilton a run out but probably hoping a clean sheet boosts Wahlstedt confidence.

Do you believe every word you read and hear in the news? do you ever weigh up two sides to a story and apply logic or critical thought to a situation?
Tomasson is paid by Rovers. He has a responsibility to himself and his employers to project a certain narrative. He would be the first manager in history if he came along and said "the player didn't want to go, he was keen to stay and fight for his place, but people at the Club decided we were getting rid and freeing up the wages as there's no other money"
If he said that he'd be turning the focus on the Club, owners, board, Broughton and himself rather than on a player who's out of the way for 6 months and he probably won't work with again after he resigns in the summer.
It's a bit like when you insist JDT is happy at Rovers because he's said something along those lines in his press conferences.
You take that at face value and insist it is true. A blind man can see it probably isn't given the way these owners have conducted business since he arrived.
Can feel the frustration in your words 🤣🤣

Pickering has been good this season in my view. His pace is a problem but I think his positional sense has improved massively to compensate. Solid player for us.
Not for me, no pace and doesn't offer enough going forward. Need better.

Pickering signed a new & improved deal last month, you really think we're looking to offload him??
It's a problem area in that when Pickering was out, we only had Brittain or Travis or JRC to replace him. Clearly Jake Batty isn't considered ready, so a body to cover for (or compete with) Pickering makes sense. But if you think Pickering is going anywhere you're going to be disappointed!!
No I don't think they will offload him, wouldn't be that lucky but I'd settle for him being the backup. Don't rate him at all, hasn't been as bad this season to be fair but he is so limited.
Really is a sad state of affairs that we have multiple players playing above their level because of shitty ownership and a horribly run club.

Brings me some hope that they will at least replace Pickering next season and have identified it as a problem area.

I almost totally agree here, but would caveat the fact that regardless of whether JDT reinstated Kaminski or not after he recovered from injury, Kaminski would've left for Luton in any event given the enticement of PL football (where he has seemingly excelled & really put himself in the shop window, hopefully to our benefit in summer re a sell on fee).
JDT is not responsible for the loss of experienced players off the books.
Kaminski not being reinstated draws attention and alerts others clubs that it's possible to get him because he obviously wants to play. So Tomasson is responsible for that aspect.

JDT is 5 star at media and pr, it’s always someone else’s fault or issue.
He wants experience but won’t play and then sells our captain and most experienced player. Same with Kaminski last season who he dropped for Pears.
We are going to end up with a team of kids and weak loan players before crashing into league 1.
Then he leaves and it was all for nothing whilst chasing his dream of playing with ‘style’.
Absolutely spot on.

Mental decision. Naive Jon strikes again. No place in the squad for Trav when he is clearly good enough to be in it all because he has this deluded notion of how he thinks the team should play. The team that has lost 6 of it's last 8 is it??
Maybe your system and tactics need looking at and not any player you don't deem suitable to your suicide football needs to cast aside? Saying he has no input in these decisions is definitely not the case. He is playing his part in the shit show the club currently finds itself in.

Which game?
The reason for asking is you seem to be an expert on current player fitness, something you’d only know about if you actually attended games regularly in my opinion. Watching them tracking back against Watford especially was telling and the games are coming thick and fast.
It’s not the only reason the side is struggling, but it’s one major factor for me, these players are running on empty, the side is lacking quality too, due to the owners pulling the budget in the summer and we are where we are.
Im surprised anyone is shocked to be frank.
Oh sorry you were trying to pull a "gotcha", quite pathetic really. The Preston game, before that the Cardiff game in October. I go quite frequently Gav and I watch every single minute of every game. I never said I was an expert did I? As I said, it's December, not March and people were saying this weeks ago. We could definitely do with players back, doesn't take an expert to know that but we aren't losing all these games because the poor lads are tired. You also get 5 subs a game.
