Since you keep asking the room; I’m a fan of JDT and his tactics.
Thanks Bethnal. Least you answered.

I don't rate Carter either but he has the odd solid game where he gets stuck in. Hyam is too quiet to be our only senior defender as well. Not signing Baath really hurt us, and I can't see how signing a 20 year old kid from L2 will bolster the defence.
But I suppose he fulfills the Venky transfer policy of buying cheap young players who can hopefully pay the bills when sold.I'm mixed on Carter, give him more of a chance and the decide, have him over Scott Wharton now anyway given his struggles or form and fitness. Should of given Baath the 2 year deal. 1 year really is a shitty offer.

Last season we only won one game in the league in december just as this year..... then we won 1-0 in the new years day.
You a fan of JDTs style and his tactics?

Anyone suggesting certain managers wouldn't touch this job I think are very wrong. They love the money and I doubt JDT is on peanuts. Don't think Cooper would take the job now to be clear but I don't think it's inconceivable that he would come the summer if he was still out of work.

I think the closest we got to a signing was Carlos Carvalhal, but he wanted to bring his back room staff with him and obviously Lowe and Benson are indispensable...
Grim.

I'd love Steve Cooper here, but he won't turn Pickering and Brittain into better defenders or turn our pound shop strikers into goal machines.
I'm not suggesting that either and don't think that was your implication TBF but he definitely won't turn Pickering into anything, he's not good enough imo, I don't rate him, never have, he might however give us a back 4 of Hill, Carter Hyam and a new LB. Stop the pissing about at the back, set us up better from set pieces, etc etc. Sammie is banging then in a Dolan can chip in too so once we stop fucking about at the back in every capacity we only need to create a couple of chances a match to win them.

Were in the bottom but have the main scorer in the championship before new year on 15 goals. Unreal! Find a way to win games.
Sorry but you asked me a question, which I answered for you and then never answered the question I asked you...are you a fan of JDTs style and his tactics?

Steve Cooper with no money? That'd be amusing to watch.
Not as amusing/depressing as the great Dane and his suicide football. He's getting away with murder.

We can't afford a striker but let's pay our current manager compensation and bring in Steve Cooper.
Sorry who said that???????

If we're skipping through the realms of impossibility I'd prefer Farke.
Wasn't he interviewed? Or just linked...

But how did this style of play cost us tonight.
We conceded from a corner, a ball over the top and some crap defending.
We didn't concede from giving the ball awayLet's not kid ourselves. We could easily have conceded another 2 or 3 today from loose passes around the back.

I'd prefer we spend money on player transfers instead of swapping managers. Too soon.
I didn't say sack him and pay him off for that very reason. I was asked a question because I criticised him. Let him see out his contract of it means saving us money we can't afford to.

He’s not going to be backed so he needs to find a way to do better with what he’s got.
Maybe that’s an impossible task but he at least needs to give it a go.
Spot on.

You seem to dislike JDT.... who do you think is the answer as our manager?
Yeah not a fan after giving him a fair crack of the whip. Would much prefer Steve Cooper right now.
Are you a fan of JDT? Like his style and tactics?

That's his remit, he was employed to play football in the identity the DoF wants us to play. The fact we don't have the backing from the shysters in India to be able to do it is not the DoF or Managers fault.
There comes a point were you as a manager and a man full stop say I need to change this style, it's causing us too many issues. It's simply not affective or enjoyable. The one or two moves a game that look pleasing on the eye and wow people are simply not enough.

Venkys don’t appear to be going anywhere.
JDT needs to at least try something else.
He won't. Doesn't know how to, we are playing balls across our own box on his say. The players don't have the ability and he is instructing then to do so. That's not a good managers tactics, that's the kind of thing any sensible manager cuts out not actively encourages. Ridiculous.

Think I have seen enough of this now, before people start leaping to the managers defence, yes we know he hasn't had great backing from the club but to persist with these tactics no matter the situation or opposition is bad management. End of story. A good manager would make us compact, hard to beat and not having us playing tippy tappy football in out own box with lads who cannot do it and a keeper who is is beyond shaky behind them. Unbelievable.

Could see Hyam mouthing at the 4th official on his way off "every fucking foul man, every foul" and he is dead right, he has blown for everything and dished out some pathetic yellow cards. Hyams first was never a yellow. Middle of the park the lad looked to have miscontrolled it and they collided. Never a yellow.

Can we please actually play four at the back!! If we are going to pass it around at the back the two CBs need options.
also why has Garrett been playing on the right wing?!!!!Ah we are the championship Man City. Just a really fluid great footballing team, Jon has it all under control.

Reactive Jon. Good lad. Didn't fancy replacing the non existent Markanday or Garrett no? Clown.
