  1. Morton needs to put a bit more meat on his passes.
  2. Big ask for JDT to be fair, felt like we needed a more experienced manager who could grind out results. Solid base, no nonsense type. Oddly enough the type who was in the opposite dugout yesterday. Big Sam be ideal and yes I'm aware there is no chance but the nice guy approach hasn't worked for us for years. Need someone who will crack the whip and rip the softies a new one when required.
  3. Waited in the long grass did you? You are missing my point completely and that's fine, you clearly want to carry the grudge because we had a back and forth. I stand by what I said on both occasions. You do realise our strike force scored 2 again yesterday and one got an assist too? Soon as we take one step forward it's two steps back. Do I think we could get promoted with a quality midfielder that grabs game by the scruff and battles and fights and dictates games and a left back who doesn't get skint 20 times a game and looks frightened to death anytime someone goes at him? Yeah I definitely do. But guess what? We are substandard in those positions and it makes the difference between top 6 and and maybe 12th to 16th. Nothing I said was negative, what I saw Saturday was very deflating and sometimes it's just a case of facing reality. A weakness in one area can hinder your promotion ambitions nevermind two. Have a good Sunday pal. Hopefully next week a few more bodies will be back and we go again and get a result and who knows.
  4. As fans we tell ourselves that this player is good and that our manager is good and it's purely a coping mechanism. In truth we have alot of shite. A new signing comes and we tell ourselves they are great, an academy graduate gets a game and we find any reason to praise because we desperate. Venkys made us desperate, we were attracting champions League winners, premier League winners, established internationals. We were an attractive club and had great squads in the not so distant past. Now we are bickering, myself included, over the Pickerings, Buckley's, Dolan's of the world. They are not good enough and they are not the only ones. Ewood is a revolving door of 6/10 players coming and going. No plan, no pride and no heart from the owners and board. We need massive improvement and investment and we deserve it, just drifting around in midtable obscurity and worse for over a decade. It's so disheartening and deflating.
  5. Just gonna say it, JDT isn't the answer, Ewood is rotten to the core and every now and then we get glimmers of hope. We are constantly swimming against the tide. The sqaud is not up to it, few injuries and we just collapse. Plugging gaps everywhere with players substandard in their own positions. Trying to get by on a shoestring. It's a joke and it's horrible to watch it season after season.
  6. Why are you looking for aggro the whole game...nothing wrong with that post. Give it a break.
  7. He's not even on the pitch...oh wait
  8. Well that's that... sickening.
  9. Christmas has come early 🤣🤣
  10. Get in. Super from Dolan. Delighted for him.
  11. Who was it. They are morphed into one.
  12. Who got dispossessed on the edge of their box before they countered?
  13. Buckley actually looks pissed off and focused.
  14. Genuinely if Buckley comes on I hope he makes a massive impact and some heart after being dropped.
  15. Think Hyam overcommitted too.
  16. That infamous left channel of ours. Arces of space. Pick your pass there Andy.
  17. I don't get why this needs to be explained.
  18. How is it slating? He's looked weak defensively. Not too bad distribution wise.
  19. Wharton guilty of giving it away constantly. Long balls straight to them.
  20. Wharton put in a cracking one there.
  21. No joke. Our left is wide open. Can't even see where Pickering is half the time.
  22. Looks to be changing in and out of possession. We are inviting them on then looking to spring BBD it hit Hirst. Either way it's not working.
  23. I agree he started ok but everytime there is a ball played into his area it's being picked up by the opposition. It's a dangerous game.
