  1. Thinks he's actually done alright.
  2. Where is the infamous press??..they are strolling into our final third looking to pick their killer pass.
  3. Our midfield is the envy of the league according to some. Not a chance.
  4. Gally starting very well. Strong and direct.
  5. Lovely bit of skill from Brittan.
  6. Who is tracking Fleck???? Buckley??? Trav????
  7. Our two left sided defenders up to their old tricks. Got away with it.
  8. Look sluggish already. Few whimpy attempts at battling for the loose ball.
  9. Big performance needed. No hiding lads! Come on Rovers!!
  10. Should be interesting to see how JDT responds after the midweek showimg...hoping for a few changes.
  11. Banter? Do you know what it is. I'm concerned at your outbursts, little unsteady. Gis a shout if it all gets abit much again.👌
  12. You ok sweaty lad? All sorts of hot and bothered aren't you?🤣
  13. Be classic rovers to go there and win...be very welcome too but yeah it's a very tough game. Should tell us alot either way.
  14. Lads do you not get what @RV Blueis saying? Those replying with "we lost 7-0 to Fulham last season", you do realise you can get absolutely battered and lose 7-0 and also lose 1-0 with both performances being equally appalling yeah? Point being the scoreline doesn't always reflect the display of the team, we lost 3-0 which doesn't stand out as disgraceful but don't be fooled at all, the performance was was bad as the Fulham one only Fulham had more quality and we're ruthless.
  15. That is spot on. Summed up perfectly, it happens all the time, I mean at every club. I have alot of united fans as mates and every one they sign is always amazing as soon as they arrive in the door. It's wishful thinking and desperation just willing any player to be the answer to whatever position. We were just all excited and hopeful because we paid a fee and he was a "specialist" left back. He isn't the answer and that's no knock on the lad, we need a strong, athletic, capable left back. It seems for the last while every teams message seems to have been "get at their left back at every opportunity" and that simply cannot continue. Defence and midfield and crying out for improvement. We can't wilt the way we have been under Mowbray at times and that mentality seems to still live inside the squad as was evidant last night. Fresh faces, few mentality, experienced tough, gritty championship proven players to add to the existing squad with a new manager and we can achieve big things, we just can't continue to plod along never seriously challenging for promotion and performing inconsistently.
  16. Is Whiteman doing well at Preston @Sparks Rover? Haven't seen much of him at all.
  17. He was anonymous against West Brom too. Let's not rewrite history. He isn't a right back so he can have a pass there but did nothing in midfield. Working hard isn't good enough.
  18. Well it's about time he got called out on it by more than myself and a handful of others. Alwsys stress it's not personal and it isn't, not sure Morton is the answer either, need a man in there.
  19. I think alot feel like you, it's more of a belief. I wouldn't have him starting at all. I bang the drum because I think we would be alot better off with someone else in there. Sick of being told how much potential he has, I want success for rovers and can't help but feel. Imagine a Alex Mowatt, Lewis O Brien, John Swift, Josh Cullen or Harrison Reed in there. It's a vital area of the pitch and can't afford to have someone not up for the battle or graft.
  20. Again, lots to address after tonight. Left back is a must end of story. 2 centre backs but minimum one. Central midfielder. If we keep BBD I'm not as concerned with our attacking options as I am midfield and defence. You can get overrun like that in the middle of the park and expect to win many games and starting with Pickering is handing the opposition a massive advantage.
  21. Honest I imagine, seems an up front guy, collective responsibility. Won't slaughter the players but will say it wasn't good enough etc.
  22. They did tbf to them but my god we contributed. Wasn't getting carried away with our great start to the season but actually fancied a win tonight and a draw at worst. How wrong I was.
