Barry Ferguson is our best player but... I must admit, we have gone downhill since he joined. Maybe a little harsh but if you look at the likes of Charlton, they sign players who give 100% every game. And despite Barry Ferguson having a lot of skill, his team work and effort have never been 100%. He has been getting stick for his last few performances and one game that sticks in my mind was the day we lost to Spurs at home. He lost the ball to Micheal Brown with a crap pass and didnt bother chasing back and spurs ended up scoring. I remember people around me including i constantly moaning about Fergusons performance that day.

Ferguson in today's market is worth about the same as he was worth when we bought him.  £3- £3.5 million.

He may be valued at £3.5m but thats not the point! Rovers must stand their ground and do a Birmingham (without being too disrespectful). And set a price tag of around £5m and try to get every penny we can. If we still have him by February(which i doubt), we'll just have to play him and he'll have to be professional.

I would chose Andy Todd. He puts in 100% effort in every game he plays and takes no s*** from anyone. He's also not afraid to put his head in where some footballers would'nt put there foot.

You weren't there yesterday, were you?  The back 4 should stay exactly as it is (unless any of them get suspended) .  Neill isn't fit to shine Nelson's shoes, and the only one I'd think about would be Short to replace one of the others- but I'd probably keep him o the bench at the mo.  January sale of spare defenders coming up I think!  (I'd keep Jay as he's young and defenders don't mature for years)

he played well, fair enough but against Fulham away he played fantastic at left back and then the next game at home to spurs he was woeful.He didnt get forward and whoever was playing left midfield that day gave him no cover and he was crap. It was the same last season.

He cannot play left back at home games, must be something to do with the way we play.

also, Nelson cant play against Cardiff i dont think because he was not involved in the first game. And thats a bit of an over reaction that he aint fit to lace Neills boots.He's only played one flippin game!
