  1. I think Mcloughlin is only a 1 game ban as denied a goal scoring opportunity, not violent conduct etc.
  2. If ever there was time for a Glen Mullan/Balaji transfer intervention...
  3. Jackson says fee for Hyam close to being agreed and expecting him to move.
  4. The latest Twitter rumour is that Zack Abbott on loan from Forest is Hyam's replacement. A 19 year old who has played 147 minutes of senior football.
  5. Well we've found JRC's replacement at least.
  6. Jackson reporting that we've rejected two bids around Β£2m. Third bid expected and growing likelihood that Hyam will go.
  7. Nixon reporting that Aberdeen want Gueye on loan.
  8. Not sure which is more depressing - a transfer deadline day shambles or one where we do nothing at all when it's clear we need 2 more players.
  9. Any sign of the order? Delhi High Court website doesn't seem to load for me these days.
  10. I also thought they were thinking along these lines, but it's a serious risk. You're basically reliant on another club in the Prem/Champ/L1 being willing to loan you their 3/4th choice keeper. Even worse if the league says that Goddard's 6 games in Ireland count as senior matches.
  11. If we go into this season with Goddard and Michalski as back up GKs then we are 100% screwed if Toth picks up an injury.
  12. Wonder if one of the new Greek strikers at Brighton would be available on loan? I know we've not gone down the loan route, but we can't afford proper quality at the end of the pitch permanently.
  13. It's clearly a financial thing - him, Buckley and JRC being ushered out as they signed deals under Broughton. Probably all on 10k+ pw and doesn't fit their model of you need to be a starter to earn that. On the other hand, if Pears rocked up to pre-season unable to train fully because of a dodgy hair transplant then completely understand why club want him moved - but that can't come at the expense of having an actual back up goalkeeper.
  14. I mean the most insane element of it is that at the same time touting a player trading model like Brentford/Brighton, Suhail states that he has never asked the owners about reinvesting transfer funds when players are sold.
  15. Glen on the podcast was told that the budget was set. It was set on the basis of not needing to make any sales. However, it was subsequently asked whether there was an agreement with owners to reinvest the funds of any player sales. Suhail said there was no agreement and he had never asked that question. It's insane - Β£5m and that may need to cover 4/5 players or 11 first team players based on sales...but any income is irrelevant.
