  1. Strange game, thought we were excellent in the first half Alebiosi especially not sure if he was tired 2nd half or he was told to hang back but he was barely used. Miller was outstanding and has really grown into his centre back role 💪 2nd half was very scrappy some of our short passing was abysmal, it feels like sometimes our players panic to get rid to another and just don’t look up! Anyway that’s my only negative from what was a fantastic away win ☺️
  2. Not sure what to make of the fact that Cantwell has been one of our better players this season but we couldn’t win with him in the team, soon as he injured its back to back wins 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ does he walk straight back in when fit again??
  3. It’s great to have a striker who instinctively hangs around the six yard box like Gudjohnsen does, evident with his two goals today, feel this is something we’ve lacked for a good few years. Some of his football ability might be questionable but it matters none as long as he continues to be in the right place at the right time to slam that ball into the net. Also pleasant to see that when we attack we are getting 4/5 players into the box. For far too long now we have seemingly attacked with just one player in the box to hit. Good signs but still a way to go especially with our possession skills ☺️
  4. 2-0 Rovers today I reckon! Ipswich haven’t exactly been on fire so far this season aside from beating a shocking Sheff United side. Think Ipswich have decent quality and they will get better as the season goes on but today we bag our first home win of the season 💪🔵⚪️
  5. They are classed as defensive midfielders whose job it is to break up play not attack. Hardly ever get into the box! You don’t need two of those in the same team.
  6. Fantastic win never doubted it! Should go into every game as a fan thinking we can get something from it Some players are going to take time to settle and adapt. Nearly all have come from leagues of a poorer standard than the Championship! I think the criticism from some on here is unjustified. Give them time, judge when we are maybe 1/4 of the way into the season. Sidnei is not Travis (thank god) completely different players. People complained we had two sitting defensive midfielders in Tronstad and Travis so we’ve changed it. Sidnei at least looks like he wants to make a decent pass even if it doesn’t always come off, just needs time.
  7. 2-1 Rovers! We will go 2-0 up and concede around the 80th minute. Followed by 10/15 minutes of completely shitting ourselves but hanging on in there for the win 💪🔵⚪️
  8. Hey I suggested Liverpool not Burnley 🤣
  9. Yeah I will give you that one the Baradji deal is very odd and no one seems to know when he can play again but it could work out good (if we ever see him) as he was wanted by clubs higher up than us so he might have something about him but its just something else we all play guessing games on right now. Alebiosu has not been dreadful since he came in, more athletic that Brittain, he has work to do but the signs are good at least
  10. Totally understand what you are saying losing a number of first teamers is not great at all but will they be missed that much. I get they knew each other in terms of playing together and out new crop will take a while to gel so that's a worry but, Batth and Weimann are currently being slated by Derby fans for being tosh, Dolan far to inconsistent and frustrating and was slagged off all season by fans so no wonder he jogged on. Travis was a run around but football wise was very limited, people more bothered about the emotional connection to Travis than his ability. Hyam is a loss but only because of the timing, think given time he could have been replaced. Start of the season has been poor and i think the new signings especially ones we signed at the end of the window need to be in the first 11 quickly and then we can judge. Until then we just don't know if all this is extremely worrying or a stroke of genius
  11. if you scroll back 12 months to the transfer window forum from 2024 the messages on here where exactly the same, rubbish window, relegation is bound to happen, board out etc and then we finished 7th. Exactly the same tone this year. If some of the new signings can hit the ground running I think we can have a pretty decent season, barring a few top teams in the league its not a brilliant Championship in term of quality (like last year) New Japanese lad looks pretty decent and certainly an upgrade on Dolan. If Gudjohnsen can score which it look like he can at international level anyway then there are positive signs of life.
  12. It’s staged every year do the fans on here expect any different 🤷🏻‍♂️ Rudy opened himself up at the end for questions at anytime so why not have someone who will properly challenge him try and arrange a meeting? Instead of just complaining about it on forums?
  13. Don’t think anyone is giving him ‘credit’ as such just actually didn’t expect him to mention the covering of arms topic. Did you really expect him to say “yes I tell people how to dress” I repeat I really don’t know what people expect from these interviews 🤦🏻‍♂️
