I will be interested in how everyone thinks Mokoena has done as a CB today(once you lot are home from a sunny day out at Ewood! )
Also it seems that Reid has been "at the heart of everything good" in the first half for Rovers.

MGP just scored.Rovers 2-0
Apparently the play is getting a bit chippy form Espanyol.
-
Philip,
I believe many of us on here will just have to take your word for it on the song recommendations.

Just read the article below from soccernet regarding changes to football stadiums and conditions and their changes over the last ten years.Looks like there is no going back and to be honest deep down no one is surprised

I mean this in all seriousness.Would we be willing to accept say 250,000 pounds for Amoruso (obviously at a significant loss to what we paid Rangers) and say 250,000 for Gray to take a trip one way to the Tyneside? If those numbers are laughable ,what would be significant enough for said deals to occur?(i.e. what would Rovers management be willing to take to get those two off the books?)I would snap their wrists off if souness came in with a net of 500,000 pounds for those two.(this may be more of a visceral reaction on my part rather than a logical one from a business perspective,I realise)

Cheers for the history lesson Jim.So following the Rovers has always been the rollercoaster ride even 40 years ago! I noted that even tough we were relegated that year we had 5 games whre we scored 5 or more goals.(What would we do with a lethal strikeforce like that this year?)

For those keeping score at home the shrimpers from Southend score 2 goals in extra time to advance to division one.(that still is confusing one year on from the name change, you know?)

Is a match report available for the Newcastle game?Anyone there who can shed some highlights for us?
-
Gav, I'd demand a recount. or are we still waiting for the Florida Rovers vote.
For the record Mr Comedian I voted for Gav.
There will be no recount, however maybe we could appeal to the Supreme Court,eh?

Personally I'm sick of all your excuses. Lets have a poll and see how many on the Members list actually went.
I would have been there today but for the small problem of the Atlantic ocean.

It would be much easier to answer the arguments if I could use actual cases from the FF to illustrate my arguments, but I can't.
Glenn
You are such a tease .
Look I understand the need for having confidences but do you see things that frustrate you in your support of this terrific, historic wonderful club? You know more than us average blokes because of your position and "insider knowledge".I think alot of the stick has to do with our performance on the pitch and if we were winning and say 6th in the table now no one would be focusing on all this other stuff.I believe the frustration level has reached a point that the typical supporter is looking at all the "other stuff" going on around the club, that's all.
Thanks for all you do and your time and energy you expend on this site and MB.I enjoy it every day as I'm sure the overseas fans do.

Would it be too sweeping of a generalisation that the Club really truly DO NOT CARE one whit about what any of their fans think on an issue as they have their minds made up (i.e Fans Forum is just 'lip service') and as such any protestations about the issue on Saturday, standing in general,or anything for that matter will only be met with a "thanks for your opinion we value it and we'll look into it blah blah blah"?If so,very frustrating and no obvious answer.

I blame the squirrel.
Yeah, that's the ticket! It was the squirrel.Shall we start a march against the squirrel?

I know it is the heat of the moment but for me I don't need to see Tugay on the pitch for a long while again!

Anybody know what formation we're playing now?
Seems that Gerald says Reid has come more central and Djorkaef has slid left?Dickov alone up top,i believe.Unfortunately, his commentary has been lacking in description of the formation

stupid tugay!stupid ref!
-
That was really an enjoyable piece to read and wish we were allowed more glimpses like this into what goes on at Ewood 'behind the scenes'.I too hope this new formation is the turn-key to us moving up the table.I would daresay that if we score 2 goals every game for the rest of the year like last week we will see that happen.Bazza is the key man.We need him to put us on his wee little back and begin the haul upwards.

Can we play "What If..." just for a moment?Let's suppose that a real live 10 million quid offer comes for Ferguson in Dec and he is shipped out;who would we like to spend the money on realistically?1 good Centre back and another good midfielder(can such an arragement be done for that little?) or just 2 new centre backs together?Discuss:

The Hoochie Kuki man just scored! 3-0 rovers
Surely there is a terrace song in there somewhere!Perhaps some enterprising songster can redo Muddy Waters "Hoochie Coochie Man" in the vein of our Flying Finn.{Albanian?}
